This is the beginning of the Monsoon season for us , we get storms that track north from Mexico . Only thing that's bad is we're getting alot of dry lightning strikes and not alot of rain

Busy BUSY day. Can't complain TOO much though... almost 4 hours of the day was spent being paid to walk around inside Cabella's. Walked away with a new Yeti 50 qt cooler for myself! And I better get with the program....Gonna try to wear out the hinge on the lid ASAP!

Nice view of the lightning strikes and hearing the thunder but knowing the brush is tinder dry is not good

My wife says I'm weird. (She's right ya know....) I LOVE sitting on the back porch watching and listening to thunder storms. Our oldest dog is scared to death of thunder, so she always plants herself on my lap and I hold my hand over her ears. Can't say for sure why, but it's the most peaceful feeling I know of.

I wasn't going to spend the money. We have 5 Coleman coolers about the same size. The Yeti is supposed to be a LOT better, but how many coolers does a guy need!

The best feature I see is the fact it's heavy enough, has non skid feet, a lid that is well secured, and rides like it's bolted to the floor of the truck bed. It'll make a great addition to the camping gear!

Its all about the bass, no treble...hook
There's a joke about making sandwiches there...somewhere, nah I'll pass.

Went to REI used my dividend check and 20% off, got a 40 qt Yeti for half price. I didn't want to spend that much but after going through 3 colemans in the last year (they get destroyed bouncing around the desert) I figured it was time for a real cooler.

Put some ice 4 - 2oz ice cubes in mine and it stayed in the truck this past saturday for several hours. Ice was still there when I got home. MUCH better than the water bottles I've used before - where all the ice (filled to the brim) had melted within an hour or two, plus dripped all over.
