It's literally being looked at today so the replacement hasn't happened yet.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
My Deaver U402 pack isn't squeaking... just saying.

Just avoid those dackers. They squeak.

Well if the dealer offers to swap out my OEM leafs with Deaver replacements (at no cost to me), I'd be happy to accept.

Hey TW, sorry to hear about all the squeaks going on with your truck. My truck in particular doesn't squeak, but when I do go over a bump/pothole I do hear a clunk. Is this normal, sorry to get off topic. Thanks for your help.

Do just hear a clunk or can you feel it too?
Does it happen when coming to a stop or accelerating from a stop?

Just when I go over a bump or hit a pothole. I know its a truck, but a brand new one so I thought it was a little unusual. Thank you for the reply.

From the front or rear? I swear the sound in the middle/rear is the exhaust hitting the frame. It is so closely routed to the cross members (I can't even fit my index finger between the pipe and frame).

When I replaced my catback, it alleviated this at one location and I don't hear clunking as much, but hit a hard enough bump and I'll hear it (catback doesn't fix tight clearance at mid assembly).

I haven't verified it yet, so it's just a guess though.

When you hit the first service interval I would ask the dealer to look into this. What you are describing does not sound normal.

My TRD OR is bone stock. If I swap out my OEM leaf springs with the U402 wonder how much brand new leafs would stiffen or lift the ass end

The sound is coming from the middle. I will definitely try to listen to it again. My first impression was that the exhaust was banging around underneath, but hard to diagnose. I will definitely bring it up to my dealer. I'm driving 2016 trd off road MT V6 if that makes a difference with 200+ miles/ 1 week old. Thanks guys!

If it was a clunk you felt upon braking or acceleration from a stop, I would have supposed it was axle wrap/slipjoint.
But since it's not, it could be anything.
    Regardless, clunking is not normal.

Those particular ones can be a bit stiff until they settle is as they're + capacity over normal stock springs. Mine have settled nicely though with just my tire and hilift in the bed.

I just heard back from the dealership. Apparently they are replacing one of my cab mount bushings (sounds like fun...) and have again confirmed the leaf springs are the issue with the squeak from the rear end. They were told that the corporate product engineers are aware of the issue and know how widespread it is and are working on a plan. This may result in a TSB or perhaps even a recall. I was told that they will have an update for me at the end of next week from corporate although a solution may take much longer than that especially if it is a recall that involves manufacturing new parts.

I just took mine to a different dealer. The new one says they are gonna replace the leaf springs and replace the bushings on the new ones. I cant believe it i didnt even ask about the leaf springs either. I had another issue and my regular dealer service manager was rude so needless to say they lost a customer.

Ive had a case opened about it for like 4 months about the squeaking. Mines not vibrating it just squeaks terribly. My new dealer service guy said they were replacing the leafs and pressing new bushings in them. They said it has seemed to fix all of theirs. The squeak is coming from the bushing on the front driver hanger.
