Hey I had the exact squeaking problem. I oiled and lube every joint. I also noticed it squeaked more when it was dry and hot days.

Long story short, took it in to the dealer (Toyota of Plano TX). About 6 hrs.

    1. They oil all the joints, no fix.

    2. They called me for an update, saying they found a bad bushing on the sub-frame assembly.

Part was not in stock, so i would have to come back.

    3. Second update, they found the part and was able to correct the problem.

    4. When I got to the shop, the squeak noise was solved, so I asked to see the damaged bush. So they called out the master tech.

He did not change the bush but was able to adjust it to correct the squeak. So I did not see exactly where the bushing is located.

So I'm not too happy with the answer and root cause, but they fixed it.
    Here is the report.

Finally got my 2016 Sport after 9 weeks of waiting. I've done the vinyl letters inside and out (thanks rrentrop), added a tow hitch cover and changed the TACOMA color on the stock carpet mats. Will be attempting dipping the grill and emblems soon. Thanks to everyone for some great tips in this forum.

Ya they will add lift, with my dakars and no air in the bags they didn't touch the cradles, at 5lbs they just touch, I'm running 10lbs in them and they ride great!

I would too but at least it gives you something to point to for them to check.

They are the two most forward body mounts they are behind the front most inner fender well liner, outside of the framerail across from the bottom of the radiator. I believe that pic is taken from the front so the black you see in the bottom right 1/4 of the pic would be the fender well liner.

Thanks for the reply and info. I am 80% sure that mine is a radiator support bushing. It is just to the passenger side edge of the grille near the radiator. I did narrow noise down to a square foot area. The ones posted at https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rad-front-body-mounts-shot.440118/ were completely split causing metal to metal contact at 1700 miles. From his pictures adjusting would only be a short term solution. I would not email my dealer a copy of your post for fear they would do the same to mine. I had a 1st and 2nd gen and never heard of this problem but there are tons of posts on the subject for prior years. Basically it is an old issue not resolved in the new model. Seems like the real "fix" is after market polyurethane bushings for $25 a set. I will let Toyota do the first fix of this bushing. If it is fixed I will upgrade to poly later. Frustrating that I have to do my own diagnostic work before they work on it again. They said they never heard of this. In the mean time I refuse to drive it. Used to being proud of my vehicle and not embarrassed at the sound it makes. I am so disappointed in quality issues that I have started pricing a Colorado. And I never buy Chevy trucks.
I think my trouble with viewing is that his OR prob has no air dam. I assume I should see it fine after I remove that.

Welcome on the info, this is definitely great TW material.
I can pretty much fix anything on my truck, but I wanted it to be documented, that way if enough customers report this problem, then hopefully Toyota will issue a TSB.
My good old Hilux never had this problem.
