Painted the front grill. I was worried about dipping the grill due to the amount of bugs we get in NH and cleaning them off the plasti-dip. I love how it came out. So much better in black!!!

Don't you just love taking your truck into the service depts. at the local Toyota dealership?

I'm going to have Walmart change my oil or the local shade tree mechanic. Then post it on my owners link on Toyota.com (I just saw you could do that today when I was updating my mileage)

I used goo gone on my bedsides just last week. It still took a lot of scrubbing to get all of it off. It worked though. No damage and no impairment for the installation of new decals either.

Got rid of the shitty lamin-x job I had done and switched to yellow bulbs in the fogs.

Stock air box mod! Better than the deckplate mod because it pulls more air from the fender instead of pulling it from the engine bay.image.jpg

If you or someone you know has a digital multimeter (DMM or sometimes called a voltmeter) you should be able to test for continuity. With that you can cut the cigarette plug off the dash cam power cable and check to see which wire is positive (center pin) and which is ground ("wings"/outside on the cigarette plug). Then you can easily and cleanly wire that into your add-a-fuse. I would definitely seek some assistance if you haven't done that kind of thing before though as you could easily nuke the dash cam if done improperly.

Friend has a sand pit he made at his house for playing with quads/ATVs. Decided to drive the taco into it. The truck got a little dirty, we managed to purposefully get it stuck in the sand in 2wd to see how it would get out from a full stop. 4WD no problems getting out with MTS and crawl control. Loving this truck. When we got back the truck was pretty dusty so another friend with us decided to draw a little gift.

I considered doing that, and vetoed it (DMM is how i found that the fuse I am using is powered when the truck is off). The male 12v you see also has a usb out in it. I plan to run an iPhone charging cable off of that USB out. That way I can leave my phone in the car at night while camping and wake to a charged phone. It also allows me to change the item that is powered by the circuit, should the dash cam fail and need to be replaced with a unit utilizing a different plug.

    Thanks for the idea though.
