Yep....I've already turned in a vacation request around those days. I MIGHT be up for TWO trips to Black Mountain though....I like the place that much! After 43 years of bashing trails, it is hands down my favorite. I've already put the dates out to several other sites. Got 2 small groups planning on attending and they're working on vacation days. Too far into it to change now.

#2 on my list is a place near where I grew up. It's private land that you have to know the owners to get on the place. We did a couple miles on Saturday morning. It reminds me of Harlan. Just not as much mileage...

The trip to Dirt Devil looks like it's on for November, so I'm looking for a September trip. Not so wound up about getting out until it cools down a little bit. It was miserable Saturday morning. Humidity is crazy right now.

I live in hermitage right on the Wilson/Davidson line and I've got maxtrac spindles on mine. I've also got fox coilovers and camburg upper control arms, but those aren't affecting my lift. And I have all-pro expo leaf springs in he back. I'm at 4" of lift all the way around. When I get back from Florida at the end of the week I'd be happy to meet up with you and let you ride in the truck and show/explain the spindle thing to you.

The spindles essentially move the hub on the front of the truck down 4 inches without affecting the suspension geometry. Giving you the 4 inches of lift that way without sacrificing or even altering the ride quality.

I was just at the dealer picking up some coolant so I asked the dude about radiator hoses. They didn't have any in stock but said if I ran toyota coolant the odds of me ever needing new hoses was low. He literally didn't even try to sell me any and I was shocked.

Any truth to this? Mine are pretty damn soft.

I know normal coolant (bought anywhere other than Toyota) slowly eats the hoses. So if you wanted to start "fresh" and never ever need hoses you could buy some new ones. But meh it's up to your judgement

contemplating a 1" body lift, coupled with the relocate brackets, and ill be set for 37's possibly with less tubbing (although 37's arent an option right now as the DD..but ya always gotta look to the future)

Levi, I need to hit ya up sometime soon to discuss relocating the bracket.

Diff Breather OME full lift kit with 886 coils and dakars sway bar removed 31.5" LED light bar from CaliRaisedLED
OME! I went with 90000 shocks and 886 coils up front and the stiffer rear shocks with dakars and I love it! I don't have any extra weight up front yet and the ride is a lil stiff but I like the ride. I didn't do the diff drop and my CV angles aren't that bad. I did have to slide the inside CV boot down a lil to keep it from rubbing tho. Only takes about 15 min and $5 to complete it.

Do it, 37's on a DD wouldn't be bad. I think I'm gonna put 37's on mine
