2012 TACOMA FRONT END CONVERSION RG11

If its the black one in pic part number is 52531-04010. You got the one that slips into fender correct ?

 

There's a fastener that goes into the filler and fits into that retainer. I have the part that slips into the fender. Tried the dealership but they didn't show a fastener on the diagram so they don't know what I need. He says it mostly comes with the filler and I'm not buying them for that damn thing.

 

Been a while since I did mine .Forgot how it goes on .Maybe this weekend ill pop mine off see what you talking about.

 

That'll be awesome. Maybe take several pics of the actual pin from different angles and maybe measure the head size and pin depth?

THANKS SO MUCH KURT! I didn't find any at the parts store today. This will help when I try another dealership tomorrow. Atleast they'll have an idea of what to look for in the parts bin. I'm also going to search online and will probably have to buy a large amount but I don't care at this point. I'll keep all posted when I find them!

So I found the pin at the dealership. Part # is 90467-10188. Hope this helps all the fellow members doing this conversion!

I bought new OEM bumper fillers for my conversion. Don't remember if they had those pins already on them Or not
Anyone?

 

Should come with it .Mine was brand new too and didn't have to pick up clips.

Hood, scoop, bumper fillers & turn signal mirror covers are being painted now. (Guess I lucked out that the 1st hood I ordered came dinged up. I got a refund and they said keep it...) It'll work for a few days until the paint shop finishes.
Trying to decide if I want to wire the mirror lights to the turn signals or the corner markers. Thoughts?

 

Nope, pretty simple bolt after all the new brackets are installed

 

So im in the process of the conversion and have been getting confused about what parts are required if I will be running a plate bumper.

This is what I have so far:
Hood
Headlights
Front grille + insert
Lock Support 5320904020
Lock Assembly 5351004040
Bumper Filler LH 5250304900
Bumper Filler RH 5250204900

Is there anything else that I am missing? I was under the impression I didnt need any of the support brackets if I am going to use an aftermarket bumper.

 

What other parts do you need if you just wanna do the headlight, grill conversion I have a tube bumper and glass so don't need the lower bumper

 

Pretty sure you going still need the 2012 up bumper brackets because head light and filler mount onto the brackets .See pic in post 162. The lower part of grill mounts onto original bumper so don't know how they secure bottom of grill.

532710B010 headlamp brackets for the new lights. I got a new grille and lights already, so I'll dig into it this weekend. Looking to see what other stuff I might need.

Ok im in the same boat and have everything but my Pelfreybilt bumper. Ill order those headlight brackets as well. Post here as soon as you get to it and I will do the same!

Check out post 36. Hes putting pelfreybilt front bumper on 12 up and he has the bumper brackets still on. So looks like you will need brackets .
