I'll report back in the spring (after a new England winter) if the uni-ball I hosed down with brake cleaner is worse than the other.

    Hi all,
So I'll be installing a lift here in a few weeks and just wondering if anybody thinks I'm missing/forgot anything. All of it is either in a pile at my house, in the mail, or still being built.
    Front:
Extended travel King 2.5 remote reservoir w/ adjuster 700lb coils
    All pro UCA
    TC coil bucket gussets
    TC cam tab gussets
TC spindle gussets w/ swaybar mounts
    Wheeler super bumps

    Rear:
Alcan 3in plus 225lbs and 1/2 in longer on shackle end
    Archive shackle flip
King 2.0 remote reservoir w/ adjuster
    allpro flip
    BAMF shock relocate
    wheelers super bumps

extended brake lines front and rear

I'm running 34x10.50 bfg at ko2 and method double standards w 4.25 backspacking.

So, think I'll need wheel spacers in the rear or should be good?
Do I need a carrier bearing drop?
anything else? I don't have a CMC yet but I might after this we'll see
    thanks

You are going to have some very serious front end low rake. The truck stock sits 2"+ lower in the front and since your front end will only have around 2.5" bit you are going a shackle flip which gives lift, a long shackle which gives lift, a 3" lifted leaf pack with extra weight capacity it seems like you are going to end up with 5" of lift in the rear and only 2.5" in the front which means your going to end up looking like a severely raked hot wheel.

@2ndGenJonny ran into some unexpected major rake due to similiar circumstances so maybe he can add on here too.

@2ndGenJonny ...it just took me 5 minutes to figure out your current screen name so I could tag you ...bastard

I've been worried about this too...especially since I still have the stock rear bumper. But I figured with a full size spare, 140 lb bumper (when I get it), and some gear in the bed itll be about stock rake....I hope anyway
Maybe Ill weld the shackle hanger a bit forward and make sure my shackle is 35ish degrees

You may as well CMC while you're in there welding.

I'd plan on either a carrier bearing drop, and/or shims to change the axle angle. You'll have to put it all together, measure and see what's needed.

1st off, thats quite a list of work! But one hell of an upgrade! You doing the install or have a shop doing it?

BFG 34x10.50r17 = 33.5 dia, so yes youre going to need a CMC so go ahead and chop that fucker right away cause its going to rub. Most likely a little bit of plastic as well as the pinch weld

Take my trucks like my woman...
    Face down ass up!

Probably going to have a little vibs at launch but mine settled once I moved the shackles fwd a hole and added the weight of my rack and bumper.
Id say hold off at 1st and see what happens when you get it all settled.
Worst case, you can drop the carrier .5 to 1" if needed but i have a feeling once that bitch settles with all that weight, youll be ok.

A lot to answer and I probably missed some shit. Ill read more again when i get to work and answer some more. Or just hit me up in my build or PM and we can talk about how much preload you will probably need.

^^he pretty much got you covered. I am running similar Alcan and an extended length shackle. With the weight in the bed now - bed rack with accessories, spare, RTT, and "real" rear bumper it pulled me down to about 4" of lift. I have about 3/4" to 1" of rake on a normal day but when I am fully loaded for camping I sit level.

Shit now you got me worried...I just called alcan and dropped it to 2 inch lift, +200lb and 1/2 longer on shackle end...worst case scenario I'll have like 8 inch shackles to make up the difference lol

That should be better. I like my Alcans. He arches the drivers side to help with taco lean. They have been great so far.

A lot of people make the same mistake because they forget how severe the front rake is OE. A simple rule of thumb is that roughly :

2" lift in the front only = level

    3" front / 1" rear = level

    4" front / 2" rear = level

    Etc etc...

So you are rear 2" with a 4 or 5" shackle?

I'd set up your bamf shock relocate kit for 2.5 shocks. It'll be far easier to do prior to being installed on the truck. 2.5 is really the shock you want to be running on our trucks

2.0s work just fine in the rear though..

he can just leave the cap off the top piece just in case he jumps to 2.5. I did just so I can get a hose in for cleaning.

my rear 2.0s suck so much. Planning on doing a shock relocate on either 10" bypasses or a replacement 2.5 King, unsure which way i want to go.
