    You've got me stumped. Time for the voltage meter.

    Does the abs light come on when you first turn on the truck? Could be that the indicator light is dead.

    My 08 sport was done today used the caveman method and grounded worked perfect. Both abs light and rear locker light come on when switch is enabled

    Sounds good man. I'll try it. Did you by chance notice if the abs light came on when the wore was cut before you hooked up the switch? Or would you be willing to disconnect the switch and see if the light comes on? In my case the light never came on

    No I didn't notice the truck wasn't started until we were done hooking the switch up, and the wires are soldered to the switch so i really don't want to unhook it. Try hooking up a switch and grounding and then start the truck.

    I am wanting to try the ABS mod on my Trd sport 2wd prerunner, just to conform will this work on my truck even though I am not 4wd? And would it disable my vsc and trac (auto lsd) as well? Or would those be still functioning? Thanks! I'm a bit confused as to what all the ABS mod effects.

    I dont know if the wiring is the same on a 2wd prerunner, though I would assume so...

    Regarding what it affects; Disabling ABS will effectively disable VSC and Trac/LSD. The Tacoma LSD is an open-diff, brake assisted LSD, so turning off ABS functionality means this goes offline with it (I think its 07/08 when they switched from a mechanical LSD but I dont remember exactly). Similar with VSC; it uses ABS as its primary mechanism to stabilize, so no ABS = no VSC.

    It was that simple. Kinda a pain in the ass for getting under the dash with broad shoulders but the write up is spot on. And well worth it in my opinion.
