I can get it for you. I know it's 30 amp terminals and I ordered it on Amazon. It works but construction is Chinese as it gets IMO.

Yes it is! I like the unfinished look of the raw aluminum like the 2nd gen picture but isn't as durable as the one sent to me.

I installed my Switch Pro to my own designed bracket. My bracket attaches to the bolt mounts on the side and down below to the wheel well. I have no vibration issues. Also I wanted to keep my fuse box free and clear for easy access. All my wiring is underneath and around my fuse box.

Finally got around to wiring my Switchpro wires to my Bluesea terminal bar. I didn't have larger gauge terminal ends for my accessories so I will try and accomplish that tomorrow. My cables that run to my 12v outlets in my bed are 10 gauge and I'll probably mount those in switch position 1 and 2.

It's been completely solid without the support leg! I zip tied an inline fuse which lays between the tray and OEM fuse box using the hole for the support leg.

Newbie to this scene. I thought the switch pro is a standalone unit. Is there an additional reason for running the Blue Sea and if so what would that be. I'm planning on running all kine electrical stuff and want to do it right the first time. Mahalo

It is a stand alone unit but there are many different ways to wire a truck depending on what you are trying to accomplish. You might use an alternate fuse panel to power other options that you do not want to switch on and off, or because you need more then 8 switches. One limitation the Switch Pro has is that it will not be able to handle multiple larger amp accessories. But you can use the Switch Pro to trigger a relay that is hooked up to the alternate fuse panel. Some TW members are running the Switch Pro alone and some are using an additional fuse panel, etc.

I have two blue sea products; ML ACR and a terminal bar. The ACR is for my dual battery setup whereas the terminal bar is just an easy and cleaner install for the accessories I'm using with the Switchpro's. Prior to my terminal bar I had used butt connectors or solder to power my accessories, but now I don't have to continue to cut my Switchpro wires when I change accessories. Hope this makes sense!

Thanks for the input. Guess I should talk with my friend who works at a stereo shop. Unfortunately he's never heard of Blue Sea. He did mention that the have ran a bigger power wire to the power outlet in the bed from the battery for a customer. The customer stated that they can handle a bigger load. Load restrictions from factory, but the inverter can do more. I'm not an electronics person and would appreciate the insight to doing a proper setup and not have to do it twice because I didn't anticipate for future additions.

Everyone has their preferences but for me combining a Bussmann box with the Switch-pros unit made the most sense.

Search tool and Google will be your best source of info. There's so much knowledge on this forum but you will have to search for it as there are so many random threads.

    Hey guys,
Where/what kind of store is a good place to a mounting plate for the brain of the Switch Pro (or even a Blue Sea fuse box or sPod)?
Whether from an aluminum block, or just a bent sheet of aluminum... not sure where to get something like this

    Thanks

I went out and bought a piece of aluminum, used my angle grinder to cut it to side and my vice to bend it. Drilled a few holes in it and mounted it up to the 2 bolts inside the engine bay.

For those who have done this install, I am assuming everyone is running the harness through the driver side firewall? Thanks
