I don't disagree and am certainly not offender. Some little boys here just run and hide when people question them, guess they can't take a little competition. Anyway, there is of course a proper wheel/tire fitment that needs to be followed. 4"-4.5" narrower rim than tire will never hurt anything other than maybe a bogger or other bias ply very soft tire. I ran my 14.5" wide boggers on a 10" rim. Yes they were wearing funny until I found their happy spot at 18 PSI. Just takes a little tinkering and all is well.

I purchased black TRD semas and thinking of going 275/70R17. I'm on stock height for my TRD off road 4x4. I heard some people say the size is good and no rubbing issues....any one have the same set up with any issues? I read that last post/link and it makes me feel a little better being that TRD semas are7" wide. So I hit the minimum. I highly doubt I'll be doing any heavy off roading....so lift is gonna wait until there are more options out. But the wheels and tires might lift it a half inch....lol. I just hope I don't get any rubbing :/ with stock height...

Does the noise from the bump stops annoy you?
When I put weight on the rear and drive it makes that clashing noise on mine

I haven't really heard them at all to be honest. It might be due to my exhaust for me not hearing it but my hearing isn't all to good anymore either haha

I went with the lower spacers provided because I had tire rubbing issues and by keeping the bump stops lower it will help with the rubbing.
Plus yours is a 2016, looks like they may have made an improvement.

Haven't had any rubbing problems at all in the front or rear. I will be doing a cmc just for moral insurance

You will need a lift. I put the wheels on before the lift and it rubs really bad.

yeah at some point might look into how crazy it would be to convert to AWD so that i can run 4x4 on the street without blowing up the front diff... would be really sweet i think

also, side note... V6 and 6SPD combo is only available on 4x4 2016 tacomas. I would have gotten a 2wd were that not the case

Haha I was tempted to dip the bezel too but I did a few mock ups with Photoshop and decided to leave some chrome in place and keep things stock-ish. It blends nicer with headlights, exhaust tip and other shiny parts until I can black them all out =D

Just finished installing the Under Cover SE ... It's a solid choice over the OEM cover and looks wayyy nicer too if you ask me. You don't even have to remove the rails or modify the bed caps !
