    Corey. Did you see these steel plates that mount on your tailgate? You loading firewood in your truck I think this would be mandatory.

    I PM'ed the guy on here about them this morning but he has not answered me. I was wanting to know about how long of a wit it would be to get one. I could mount that bed ladder to that and be all set. (I know it would cost more than the bed step)

    You can see in that one picture there is not much reinforcement under that plastic tailgate cover.
