No problem at all. I actually found an older thread that was posted before I made this one that has all the pictures I missed for removing your headliner. @Molon Labe did a great job of documenting the process. I couldn't find it prior to doing this, but now that I found it, I might as well link it for all the helpful stuff I missed.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2012-dc-interior-head-liner-removal-write-up.247104/

Here's one that @Crom did in his truck looking for the maximum sound deadening end result. He's incredibly thorough and I would suggest reading through his build for random projects that you may consider for yourself or even just for that "gee-wiz!" factor.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...d-and-adventures.362772/page-74#post-11831693

and one from @drscott11 where he documents his audio build. It's a bit more than I would do since I'm fine with the stock stereo for now, but one thing to note is how well he sealed the doors (inner and outer skins). One of your biggest enemies keeping your stereo from performing is escaping air (that and rattles). He hit the nail on the head with how he sealed everything up allowing the speakers to do their thing.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ening-custom-doors-deck-amp-completed.357534/

There was another good one that I can't seem to find at the moment, but once I do, I'll post and tag.

Yup, didn't work. I thought at first that it had as the light stayed off until I went for a drive and on it came again! I dropped the headliner again to hook it back up.

    Too few to list.
Thanks. The dash light doesn't bother me much and eventually get to pulling the bulb out but since I was pulling the headliner, might as well ask.

Lol! Yep, easier every time. Mind, it isn't hard in an access cab.

Any Access Cab owners replace the pathetic ceiling "speakers" while the headliner was down? Any photos/measurements of what fits up there?

Thank you so much for this will be doing this soon as I just got a shit ton of sound deadening so this helps a fuck ton. Now I must buy that temp sheet shit. How many rolls did you buy and did it cover the whole truck? I plan on doing doors as well and the floor of the truck so maybe 2 rolls? Just curious of coverage

This was the last step in my deadening project and I finished this off yesterday afternoon. This is the 2nd vehicle I've deadened, and it still sucks to remove all the panels and stick this crap in place. BUT....it works. Anyway, lots of good info in this thread and thought I'd add one more picture to it for anyone who is removing the B pillars.

Once you pop off the lower half of the B-Pillar, you'll have access to the 2 bolts at the bottom of the upper trim piece. No picture necessary for those. You can't miss them. After you remove them you can work on getting this thing off. Unlike most panels, it doesn't pull straight off. There are 2 hinges at the very top, and one more trim panel fastener holding it in. You'll see which end is open and slide it out. Don't just pull. or maybe you can just pull and snap the fastener, but I'd just slide it. Then pull the fastener out with needle nose and break it that way before reinstalling with half the clip in tact ;)

The red fastener in the background is what the panel attaches to. You can see the open end in the foreground as well as the two pieces where it hinges. Hope it helps.
    IMG_0045.jpg

And for anyone doing this on their own, if you need assistance holding up the headliner when it comes time to reinstall everything; use some 3m tape. Make sure you pull it off from the inside out though when you're done.
    IMG_0051.jpg

And heres a few of my install pics....

I completed my entire cab sound dampening ... with insulation on the roof as well.

I am sitting at a traffic light when the Va Beach skies opened up .... silver dollar sized rain drops. I 'm thinking, damn my windows are taking a beating, maybe it's hail.

Nope ... it was the first good down pour and I wasn't hearing a drop on the roof ... now if I can only insulate/sound dampen the windows

In an odd sort of way ... I might too ... but ... I like the all round quiet I now enjoy.

That's the speaker in the back roof its maybe 2" x 1/2". It's glue to headliner. If you go to post #69 and look at picture 6 , picture 9 the white plastic with the squares is what fills the voids. Might get a 3" or 4" in there . Could take that stuff out and glass it . And fit something bigger. But it would be surface mount.

Just did an install for this today in @james Daniel 's AC. It is so much easier to do this without a damn b-pillar in the way. The sun was beating down on us and it got hot while we were doing the install and you could instantly tell how hot the roof was getting in the spots where we hadn't installed any insulation yet. Glad we got this done today. Looking at a high of 102* tomorrow.

Never thought about cold weather applications for this, but I suppose it would work as long as you applied the same products to the doors as well. Unfortunately though the same principal would be that the windows are still the weak link in our trucks' insulating properties. Go for it and please report back. I'd be interested to hear how it goes.

I noticed from your pictures that you did not put any insulation over the 2 horizontal support beams in the roof. What was your reason for that since I saw someone else cover the entire roof? I will be doing my roof this weekend and would like to know before I start this project as it is getting very hot here in Florida.

No reason honestly. I was able to tuck a lot of the sound deadener under those support ribs and I brought the insulation right up to the curve just to simplify the install. After it is all said and done, I don't see any noticeable difference in heat radiating from those spots since the gap in the sheet metal already provides somewhat of a thermal barrier. At the same time, I don't see any harm in covering them with the insulation and there isn't any fitment problems once you put the headliner back on. Ultimately it'll be up to you if you want to do it or not. Aesthetics maybe? Or just knowing that it's there? But I don't see a difference either way.

You must have espn or been reading my mind since you answered my next question before I had a chance to ask it! My only concern was the fitment problem. As far as aesthetics, I was not planning on removing my headliner each time I was going to take any passengers to show them my artwork. LOL You said that you were going to install a 2nd layer of insulation. Did you ever have a chance to do it and how was the fitment?
