Anyone know if you can setup for the truck to honk instead of beep to confirm doors are locked? I often can't hear the beep when confirming the doors are locked with the fob from inside the house.

You can't see the parking lights flash?.... If you can't see the truck, then you just have to trust that it's locked, I guess...

Don't know about the horn modification....Did you search the "settings" in the head unit..??

I'm just spoiled I guess from one of my other vehicles "telling" me it's locked. Can't see my driveway from the house.
Doesn't appear to be anything in settings...oh well...

Well, if it's an issue that bothers you how about this.....
Install a 12 volt horn in place of that "beeper"....It's on the pass side under the hood.... just looks like a small horn... Go to the wreckers and get a horn and install beside it...that way you can reverse if you want...!!
    I think that would work...

Thanks for the advice...wouldn't it be funny if the horn I find is obnoxiously high pitched or plays la Cucaracha! :kona::bananadance:

Can't you adjust the volume of the beep in the menu on the radio?

wait.... this makes no sense, so you can't use your wipers and head lights at the same time? that can't be possible but i don't see what else this sentence is trying to say.

Some people would like their headlights to automatically turn on when they use the wipers. Apparently some vehicles have this feature.

Neither have I. I just simply twist the knob on the signal lever if I want the lights to turn on.

I am stumped. Is there a way to add a item to the last Driver info section of the Multi Info Display? I have attached the four areas where three of them have something loaded to them

That I know of no, this was discussed earlier this year. The only thing I did was put the Avg MPG on the front screen.

I think they left it this way so there would be a "blank screen" option for those that don't want to see anything there.

This was driving me crazy, and couldnt get it to work, and couldnt remember where the hell I read it. Its not in the manual, it just says "will shift to 4th or 5th, depending on speed" Even started a new thread on it! Found it...Its tip #41, and I cant get it to work, even up up to 73 mph...scared to try it any faster. Truthfully, I did get it to work twice, out of dozens of attempts, but it almost always stops by 4th gear first, revs up the engine briefly, then falls into 5th, no matter how quick and smooth I move the stick. Do you have to close one eye, hold your tongue just so... or put a little english on it?

Strange, I've never had a problem with it but I also don't use it that often.

Nothing fancy, yet. Weathertech mats front/back + their mud guards, some reflective striping and custom carpets on the storage bin lids underneath the jump seats.
That's unfortunate you can't see it from inside.
I have the opposite problem. I don't want to hear mine.
I turned the beeper almost all the way down because my roommate's bedroom window is right above where I park the truck.
Out my window, I can make out the flash of the hazard lights when I hit the button.

Anyone think they deliberately have locked signified with a single flash and un-locked with two?
Think about it: Locked = one syllable = one flash
    Un-locked = two syllables = two flashes
    Maybe I'm just weird.
    LOL
