So... 27k and that leak is an oil leak, coming from inside the bellhousing.

Are rear mains an issue or anything else in there that it could be? It's not dropping oil noticeably yet but there was a drop forming on the oil drain bolt. There are no signs of dents or dings near the pan or anything.

Gonna run up and grab a borescope and see if that'll allow me to look in there.

I have a video, looks wet around the rear main. Guessing shitty tech put too much oil in it

Found an old gun rack at an arc, gave it a little paint job. 5 dollar score imo.

Went to this brewery last summer while visiting San Fran. They had a couple of anniversary one-off bourbon barrel ales/stouts. It was a good night.

Not sure if I posted it on this thread, but I think I did isolate the clunk/knock from the front drivers suspension. The LCA bolts on the drivers side were looser than the passenger side, and both sides were lower than the recommended torque. Which, I was doing that when I first saw this oil leak. It does look like its loosing oil quicker though since first it was just a wet area, now its probably dripping a little.

    None, but willing to learn.
Could use some advice. Posted this on a suspension thread but thought I would drop it here and let the experts weigh in...

Ok, so not the post I was hoping to make. Finished the installation of a Deaver AAL, rear leafs off a 2014 Taco, Billy 5100's, and OME885 coils. Got it down on the ground, torqued all the suspension bolts, stepped back to review my handiwork and thought, damn, that front end looks higher than balls on a giraffe! Sure enough here are my before and after center-of-hub to fender measurements:

    LR: 21-5/8" 23-7/8" 2-1/4" Lift
    RR: 21-5/8" 24-1/4" 2-5/8" Lift
    LF: 20-1/4" 25-1/4" 4.5" Lift
    RF: 20-1/4" 25-3/4" 5.5" Lift

Awe crud. Way to much up front.

Full disclosure: I got the OME885's off a member on TW and they are 885X's per the tag on the coils. Previous seller said they had 20K on them. As I understand it the 885X designation came about when OME started using different steel to prevent sagging over time but the specs of an 885X would be the same as the current 885 offering. Need to verify this.

So, did I screw up on the install?

Does an 885X provide ~ 5" of lift?

    Did I get a mis-labeled set of coils? Did I get 886's?

Don't know but I gotta figure it out.

My truck is a stock 2011 TRD PRO; no armor, skids, or anything else. As far as the ride goes, rear is perfect. Love it. The front drives like a dump truck. No, clangs, bangs, or noises, but it's just so stiff that it feels like I need snow plow on the front of it to get the springs to compress even a little bit. I was expecting a stiff ride, but not honeymoon night stiff. I've got what feels like CV vibrations starting at about 55 mph on up - I could only wonder why, my UCA's are at a 45* angle!!

Thoughts? Questions? Suggestions? Any input would be appreciated. Oh, the 5100's were set on the lowest setting, I triple checked that before I installed them.

I had 885's with both OME 90000s and 90021s, and I got 2-3". No front bumper or extra weight. 885s were purchased a year and a half ago, not sure if they are labelled 885 or 885x.
