How many people with a 2015 bought because they didnt want a 3rd gen?

    2015 MGM SR5 Access Cab
    I was looking at 2016s back in April, and wanted a 4x4 Access Cab with a V6 and manual transmission (I've only owned manual trucks), and was having trouble finding one that late in the model year. Then the salesman at the local Toyota dealership called me that a used '15 with that configuration came in, in magnetic gray -my preferred color- with 18000 miles on it, so I came in and looked it over and test drove it and bought it on the spot, for about $5-6000 less than a new one. Don't regret it at all. I love the way the 2nd gens look over the 3rd gens. Plus I figure the 4.0 liter V6 has been pretty bulletproof for the 11 years it's been out, while the 3.5 is untested.

    Bought my 2015 DCLB 4x4 Limited Pyrite Mica in 11/14, totaled by a dumbass in 4/15. :mad:

    Bought my 2nd 2015 DCLB 4x4 Limited Pyrite Mica in 5/15.

    I don't trust the first production year of any new model, especially with a new engine. :notsure:

    It doesn't look as bad as it ended up being, but I got a new truck instead of a wrecked/fixed one. :thumbsup:

    I sold my T4R, to buy a Tacoma (well...... I actually sold my wife's T4R and my BMW to buy it, she now drives a Durango Citadel AWD w/Hemi). :anonymous:
