Has anyone completed the locker mod on a 2006 Tacoma so you can use the locker in 4H,4L, or two wheel drive?

Was it hard? Would you do it again? I'm thinking about doing this too.

Can it be done in a 6spd?

I have it done in my 07 stick.Just follow the directions and triple check your work,And before you button it all up confirm that it does work.Have fun. Also if you searched this you could have found like 300 posts about this subject in the 2nd gen forum.I still have yet to come up with a question that I can not find atleast a little bit of info on for mods or just about anything on these trucks.Welcome to TW.

yeah, smae here... i was nervous but it was easy as hell. just double triple check everything. make sure it works prior to starting the mod and then check it before you go wrapping it up:)

I would definitely do it again!

Overall its a pretty easy mod and also usefull.

Be sure to read the instructions here.
Because, depending on which relay you buy there are different color codes for the wires. We found that out in this thread.
