    I asked them via email once and they never responded. People say their 4 cyl headers are far superior to the Doug Thorleys. I'm surprised they never came up with one being that the v6 is so popular

    Unless TRD made a different version for the 2002-2004 then they should be the same for all first gens, I have TRD headers on my 04

    That would mean they would have to have changed the 5VZ-FE within those years. I know they changed some stuff in the cab and body from 2001-2004. My guess is its the same engine. I sure hope not because I will be one sad puppy!

    According to Wikipedia The 5vz-fe stayed the same from 1995-2004. I'm sure the The harness changed as they upgraded to power windows and mirrors but the distance between the exhaust discharge ports most likely stayed the same.

    Interestingly enough, OBX sells their headers for 1999-2004. Which makes me think it's not the exhaust ports but something else that wouldn't allow them to fit. DT's will fit 95-04 but their shorties. I'll be honest. I'm a little nervous :confused: same part number on EBay and other TRD headers so I think I'm just Buggin' for no reason:oops:

    As I'm looking further into it, you maybe right but these appear to fit only 98' Tacomas and earlier. I emailed lc engineering as well as URD but the part number changes which makes me believe that it has something to do with the bending of the headers are probably in a different configuration.... Oh well... Back to the drawing board :frusty:

    Someone posted this deal up a while ago, from what I can remember is the headers will fit. The only thing that needs changed on the headers is one of the flanges. something like you have to swap out the 2 bolt flange for a 3 bolt flange or vise versa to fit on the stock exhaust. Many have purchased these and have gotten them to fit with little modification or doing a different exhaust. doing a search for the post should clarify it for you guys. I think the part number for these shows that it fits the 2000 and older plus the T100's.

    What would I search for in the search bar? I've looked up all different type of tags and haven't found much. I've Googled some stuff and came up with a similar situation than mine on TTORA except he had a 98 Tacoma with TRD headers for the 2000-2004's. I'm not about to give them up. I'll drive to URD or LC engineering and have them do the install if I have to...
