Yeah, I know you seem to be really happy with yours. But like you said, I need to find something that works with my setup.

I don't remember exactly what your angles look like. Are they exagerated or extreme? If not, the SPC would be enough, since your suspension doesn't flex alot as is. Those JBA's were also in the running when I was going to replace mine. I like how the joint would have been super easy to replace.

I got my SPC because metaltech was having a groupbuy, for $360 shipped, or somethibg like that

No angles. With the DB lift I kept factory geometry in my suspension.

I will say this, I had to throw limit straps on mine because the ball joint flexed enough to contact my coils. If you get uniball uppers I'd say get some lowers too, then kings and you'll be mid travel DB like a boss.

 

But then wouldn't I be right where every other mid travel setup is with the bad axle angles and prematurely worn out parts?

 

Not if you kept it all at "ride height". you've got the lift, just need the articulation, flex and length.

 

I guess we need to talk some more as this will be happening in the near future.

Sooo I guess this thread is kind of the closest to my new area.... At a mere 80miles away lol.

Fort Polk, LA... I didn't realize how barren a place could be.

 

I spent 4 years at that place. Not a lot there.
Sleezville was very welcoming to military back then, besides the tattoo shops. I remember lots of bar fights, lol.
Derider isn't to far up the road but not much there either. I think the main attraction back then was a Ryan's steakhouse!
Spent alot of time in Alexandria just trying to find something to do. It was the closest "big city" to us.
But you are only 1.5 hours from here and I'm sure most of the guys are willing to travel on our side. He'll we drive 5+ hours just to go play in the dirt . Do you know of any good trails or any off road parks over there? We talked about trying some a couple of times but never made it to them.

I'm actually in the process of moving, doing a lot of back and forth to find a house and out process back here in Florida. I'll be there officially 31 Dec for good.... I'll travel I have no issue there lol. I drove 9hrs to play on some rocks with some GA/SC people in Tennessee lol. As soon as I get setup and settled in I'm going to search for some areas. There has to be something!
