This is my filtration system when out backpacking. I haven't scrolled through the whole thread, and I'm sure they're are plenty of setups, just thought I'd show mine. Used a katadyn hiker pro for years and never failed me, but the past few years I've been using this one.

I know all those areas. But do you mean Rodgersville instead of Russelville? Rodgersville is in the same area, Russelville is well over an hour from those other towns.

My trip to Grand Canyon is 6 weeks out, so I thought I'd better figure out how to set up my new tent.image.jpg

Yesterday the white, red, and yellow were $12.99 with free prime shipping in the 10L. Looks like only yellow left at that price. Prime is only available on certain size/color combos. But seriously, these are quality bags. I've bought other dry bags on Amazon at this price point and they're not even close in terms of quality.

I hate it when they jack around with the price and shipping. I like the idea. I have a couple of dry bags already that I am not using and might give those a try next week.

I like the idea of different colors for different stuff in the bags.

Duh. Rodgersville. I haven't been up there in a few years since he passed... He used to love to go to that catfish place (fish creel?) up there.

The Fish Creel "used" to have good food, but like you I haven't eaten there in quite some time. In fact, they were one of my customers when I sold soft drinks for a living.

Initial setup is always done indoors.
Too bad I can't find a photo of my 16 X 10 tent setup in the living room.
