I found a great storage solution for our tacos. Best thing is they are really inexpensive. $12 on Amazon Prime.
    https://www.amazon.com/Leader-Accessories-Waterproof-Boating-Camping/dp/B00EEZ296U

These are Leader brand dry bags. Made out of heavy PVC. Super durable. A variety of colors. A nice handle on the outside (also comes with a shoulder strap). The 10L size fits perfectly behind the rear seats in my double cab. I have 2 behind the drivers side seat and I'm going to get two more for behind the passenger side. Great for all my cinch straps, rope, and bungie cords (As well as a few conceal and carry eagle edgeless).

You could also tie these town in the bed. Completely waterproof. This is a HIGH QUALITY product. And they come in a variety of sizes. But for behind the seats 10L are best. 15L is a little too big.

OP, nice find! That is super cheap if the quality is as you say. But what is the purpose of storing these bags in the rear seat where water is not a problem?

I've just been looking for some bags that fit nicely behind the seats for storage. These looked like a good size/shape so I took a chance. They arrived and are a perfect fit! And I was very surprised at the quality.

These are heavy duty. If I had to compare the material to something- I'd say they're similar to a bicycle inner tube. Perhaps even a little thicker? But they're not the same kind of rubber. They're like that heavy duty vinyl tarp material you might see on a semi-truck. Or like a super heavy duty inflatable raft.

The fact that they're waterproof is inconsequential in the cab, aside from the fact that they give you the option of tossing them in the bed if you so choose, and contents will remain dry as a bone. Basically, I bought them for the size, not because they are waterproof.

Ha Nope. It's just a cheapo generic set from Lowes. I always leave my doors unlocked and don't keep anything valuable in the cab. I'd rather someone just open the door and take my cheap shit rather than break a window thinking they're gonna score.

It's not often anymore that you buy something for 12 bucks and are surprised by the quality. Bet these same bags would be $35 down at the Patagonia or Sporting goods stores.

    Agreed
Good explanation, makes sense. They're so functional and cheap I forgot you could just use them as normal bags!

I read all post. And still don't see the need to be water resistant if stored inside the cab.

There isn't a need for it. I really don't care if they're water proof or not. I just like the bags because they fit well and the price was right.

I've thought about it now. Just because it has an extra function doesn't make it unusable or a bad idea. At 12 bucks a pop they're a great buy and if need be, he can throw them in the bed or anywhere else without worrying about water. Like 4x4 in a pavement princess :notsure:

I just ordered the larger sizes, too. Just because I'm so impressed with the quality. I realized I can slide my chain saw into one and tool boxes in a couple more. And not think twice about them when in the pasture working on fences. Also great for the 4 hour road trips to the cabin when weather doesn't cooperate. I've been thinking about a tounneau, but this solves the problem, as I really don't want to deal with a cover.

Nice find. In new to these forums and have never seen the back folding seat with carpet covering the plastic. It looks sick! Is there a thread that shows different techniques of doing this and what materials to use?

It's just two dark gray door mats from Home Depot, side by side. They overlap about an inch or two. They're super cheap. Like $3 each. They're really thin but are rubber backed and stay put. Just happened to be the perfect size. And they keep shit from sliding around, like when I set tool boxes and shit back there.

I discovered it on accident. I bought the mats to use inside the entry ways in the house and tossed them in back on my way home. Ha and I liked it so much I just left them there. Do it. You'll like it.

Yeah that's a clean look and a great fix to make the plastic top better suited for items that would slide around and scratch up the finish. After seeing it I'm adding some to my back seat.
