Feeler/Interest gauge for 12-15 blackout interior parts

If i could get one that would blackout the shifter chrome surround I would have already.
My last 2 were black interiors. Might be why I feel this way.

 

It's pretty easy to paint that piece. Where South of Birmingham are you from? My wife is from Alabaster and still has family there!

 

Did you just spray paint that chrome surround?

 

I am in helena right by highway 52 and alabaster limits. Down from tank farm. I've been meaning to plastic dip just havent.

 

I cut the little plastic welds on the back, sanded it with steel wool, painted and cleared it, and then reinstalled it and used epoxy to redo where the welds were. Pretty simple to do.

 

Small world. My in-laws are right near weatherly subdivision! Yea it's pretty easy to do. I would recommend paint though because anything that happens to fall could scrape the dip and then you'd have to redo it.

I am interested in the mod. How much is the ring and how do I pay? This ring and the hilux switch are all the parts I need to swap my '14 4x4 switch for this combo? TIA

 

It also requires a little bit of easy wiring. I don't have a firm price yet but I know they won't be more than $30. Here's some more info and I'll add you.

 

I am not to comfortable with wiring and would probably have a professional do that part of the install.

The wiring is super easy, only two wires to connect

@nazlax10 did you ever make a write up on the wiring? I never thought to when I put mine in. Seems to me it was the same wiring as the 4Runner switch though.

No I sure didn't. I found a link though to the exact same wires I used so I just send that around. It is the same though. Since I already had the 4runner switch when I got the hilux one it was plug and play!
