I've searched and haven't found anything. Is there a way to increase the duration of the bed light. Right now, I turn the truck off, take the keys, get out, and about 2 seconds after I get to the bed, the light turns itself off. It would be nice to increase that to 15-20 seconds so I can actually see what's in the bed. The 2 alternatives are to just leave my door open (which may or may not let mosquitoes or other bugs in) OR flip the switch to leave it on and then go flip the switch to turn it back off. It seems like it would be much more useful if it just stayed on for a little longer.

My dome light switch doesn't activate the bed lights even tho they are hooked into it. They only come on when entering and exiting truck like was mentioned and go off after 15 seconds or whatever like dome light does.

I don't remember if the bed light comes on when the tailgate is open. If not, a fix may be to wire a switch into that and put some sort of timer on it so that the lights only stay on for a defined time.

The change I make will be bedlights running off their own switch. Splicing into dome circuit was just quick and dirty way. Switch may end up in the bed too.

That light appears to be tied to the interior lights auto-off timer.
You can change that in the head unit from 7.5, 15, or 30 sec.

    (b) Customizing using the radio and display receiver assembly (for Radio and Display Type) or navigation
receiver assembly (for Navigation Receiver Type).
    (1) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    (2) Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings (for Radio
    and Display Type).
    (3) Enter the following menus: APPS / Setup / General / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings
    (for Navigation Receiver Type).

Sweet, I will check for this setting when I get back to the truck. I have the entune plus, so I hope I actually have this setting.

I'm not sure if anyone has discussed this, but when I was working on my truck last night I turned the bedlight to just stay on, and after a while it turned off automatically. I'm not sure what the duration is for this, but it was at least 10 mins.
Oh look! it's in the manual:

    To prevent battery discharge
If the following lights remain on when the door is not fully closed and the main
switch is in the door position, the lights will go off automatically after 20 minutes:
    ●Front personal lights
    ●Interior lights
    ●Cargo lamp (if equipped)

I think this rule applies to the Cargo Lamp even if in the "on" position.

Also, if I wanted to just flip the switch twice, I wouldn't have taken the time to start a thread.
