    Since we're playing...

Saw an Earthroamer out in Utah (Canyonlands NP) a couple years ago, but was surprised to see the low-profile street tires on it. Apparently medium duty truck tires, but clearly not for substantial offroading.

Also ran into this (repost) and chatted with the owner, who was from England, picked it up in Newfoundland, and was en route to the Panamerican highway.

And in Capitol Reef, en route to Cathedral Valley (50-mile offroad loop, awesome, highly recommended), this MAN, complete with lions and zebras painted on the sides, and at least 20 license plates.

FWIW, the longer you wait to install them...the bigger pain in the ass they become.

    Those are 37" tires BTW.

15 year RV financing! It would only be around $1,000 month... Cheaper than a cabin. Not that I can afford either- just putting it into perspective.

All of those other big campers are great for wide open spaces, but would suck in the forest. I'm always looking for low branches & leaning trees with the FWC. The Earthcruiser would do fine. At 8'-4", it's only 12" taller than mine, and 9" taller than Manute Bol.

    All good points.

A cabin you can take to every national park in the US or beyond!

Branches, and even just closely space trunks with some off camber trail between them and be enough to teeter the top in the trees. Or pick a peck of peppers.

Has anyone seen the Unimog in the Bay Area painted with the Bald Eagle American theme? Seen it a few of times, most recently on the back of a tow truck.
