This will NOT give you the thumping, panel rattling bass if that's what you are looking for, it will fill in the weak areas of your sound system.

The remote control makes it easy to adjust between different music types, audio books, etc.

I've installed the JL Audio C2-650X and that's it. Always impressed with JL and these didn't let me down. I have the Gracenote head unit non-JBL and the speakers came with clips that were plug and play...super easy.

 

Thank you for this... this is what I was basically looking for. I'm not looking to be like that obnoxious 18 year old that bumps at a red light, I just want a boost in sound that can take a beating. I'm going to look for other items like this because I've never liked Kenwood, just never seems to last.

What head unit do you have? What mods did you have to make behind the seats? I'd hate to have to go all chop-shop style on carpet and plastic considering the hurt on resale.

 

That's insane. Not my style, but you are incredibly skilled dude. You have to own your own audio shop or something.

Just a weekend warrior. @Mr Marv built me the boxes. No cutting of the plastic, just carpet on the back wall. You don't have to go that crazy. There are a few guys here that have done some nice systems in their 3rd gens. About 4 or 5 threads I know of.

Kudos to that. Just curious, what size are those subs? I used to have a single Fi audio 15" sub in my 2013 Infiniti g35 sedan, until I realized it was literally disassembling my car from the bass. When my license plate frame assembly fell off my car going down the road I took it out. My trunk alignment was all off, my sunroof would work when it wanted to, and sunglasses holder/map lights fell out lmao. I used to be very into it, now I guess I am just turning into an old man at 25 years old.

 

I went with all kicker speakers. Mids and tweets in the front, 2 ways in the back doors.

The subs are 10s.

 

quick question about the package option.
when u say i had to get the tec package with sunroof to get jbl that confuses me.
i have a sunroof and i don't have jbl.

i e got tec package and for audio it's the "entune premium"?

 

I have a sport on order, and for the JBL it only was available with one of the tech packages, there are packages that come with the roof but no JBL, but there were not packages that came with JBL with out the roof, IIRC.

 

was wondering if anyone on here has or knows someone with a JL audio 10TW3D4 in the back of there 16 taco?

i have a extra JL CS110TG laying around that has the TW3


i was going to take it out of this box an put it in a box from ********* but wanted to know how ppl felt about it.


not looking for anything intense just want a little more then the nothing i have now.

it was perfect for my 370z but that was 12" from my head in a hatch and it wasn't behind a seat farther away..
