only if you know a good divorce lawyer.... gotta pay back our savings, borrowed from it for the 4Runner down payment. Your Dodge would look good in my driveway with the KTM in back though. :p

Thanks guys. I've got several estimates scheduled now. I'm over the initial FML moment...now to just get it fixed.

Has anyone else bought anything from Cali Raised LED? I'm a pretty patient guy but they've got me little frustrated. I bought and paid for a pair of pods on Sept. 19th and I still haven't seen them. The dude emailed me a little over a week ago saying that they had shipped but I haven't seen tracking information or anything yet. Not the end of the world here but still, I expected a little better customer service.

So just recently in the Colorado thread someone claimed to be a new female member but a mod found out her IP was the same as the Cali Raised LED place and also found the truck she used was from their Instagram page. @sean266 is still investigating it all.

Bliss showed up yesterday and the guy said they could maybe just fix the valleys to get me through another couple of years, which would be fine with me at this point. I asked him to give me a number for that, and for a full re-roof. So, it seems the immediate situation may be not quite so financially dire.

In other news - Safelite showed up to fix a couple of new rock chips (thank you, semi, for the freeway gravel drop). After talking with the tech and pointing out the other pre-existing fixed chips (including one that is spreading again), we went the new windshield route. The tech showed up yesterday at my house it took him about an hour to swap it out. Pretty interesting process really. So, some positive news finally! And somehow, my out of pocket cost ended up being...$0. Not sure how THAT works out, but bonus for me!

when i emailed them, they actually said they are coming out with a 16" in november. but im actually looking for the 17". just a bummer because i need to put on new tires before winter starts, but they arent getting any 17" until late december they said.

any one know of some rims that look simliar to the stealth 6 series? i might go with the new trd pro rims instead.

also wondering if theres anything i need to take into consideration with the new rims if i from 265 to 285.

Get 5 rims and replace the spare as well. Most people don't think of the spare.

Ok, hopefully I can get some Oregonian help here. The girlfriend is dead set on wanting to do a trip down the Oregon coast next spring/summer but wants me to plan it. I am expecting to have my RTT by then and am hoping I can get her to do most of it in the tent and maybe even get in a little offroading along the way. Anyone have any suggestions of a place we might be able to explore and camp that's off the beaten path or anything we need to for sure check out? I know I will probably get stuck with the camp grounds for the most part and at least one night of paying for a hotel room for her to shower but I would like to find at least one spot if possible to camp out in privacy.

I was thinking maybe TSF because I'd like to swing through Tillamook and check it out anyway but I'm not sure how much of a detour that would be and how much time we will have. I figure I would like to make it down to about Florence/Coos Bay and play in the dunes before heading back North on I-5 but this will depend on how much time we can dedicate to the trip... and whatever girlfriendy type things she wants to do in between.

    Not enough.
I have a bit of a problem, hopefully some have an answer to it.

Recently it rained last Wednesday and I noticed a humid feeling in my truck yesterday. I reached down onto the floorboard to grab my hat and felt that it was a little bit wet. After running a few errands I get home and check it out. Turns out to be that my entire passenger floorboard is soaked. There seems to be water entering the cab from UNDER the truck since i did check my blower motor and that was not wet (unless it had dried since Wednesday. Looked for a TSB but only found it for the 1st gen models.

Has anyone had this problem and had any luck fixing it?

Trying to get this resolved before the real rain arrives and am limited to how much DIY I can do since the apt managers are strict on the whole "working on your vehicle" thing. Halp.

This just happened to me as well. I siliconed where I felt the water was entering the cowl.
    1. The TSB for the leak in the cowl. You can look that up and test it if all else fails.
    2. It could just be a plugged/leaking drain hose from the heater box.
    3. You could be getting water in there through the cabin air intake (many of us have had this problem which gives you a serious amount of water in there in a short period of time...usually from a heavy downpour). This last one is the culprit if you turn the heater fan on and it blows water out the vents. It's caused by junk getting between the cowl and the windshield which lets water just go straight down into your fan. If this is the culprit, I can point you to some pics of someone (besides myself) who recently had this problem too.
