What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The dealership was able to find mine. I only had to wait about a week the found one in St. Louis I live in KCMO. I thought about removing the vinyle but decided not to. My next mod will be duratracs 265/75/16

 

Trd pro rims, Ko2's, Tinted the whole truck windshield too, LED interior lights, dipped the grille, 5000k headlights and fogs.

 

Can you explain how a cps replacement is done . I was wondering if it would be worth having a spare onboard incase it went out .

 

I couldn't wait to get those caliraised leds off the truck. Picked up some Rigid Ignites, they're brighter in a much smaller package.

 

As i explained on the post, on the other side of the "Tacoma" (the back side) there is a smooth raised strip to glue it on to.
But if there wasen't , i would have taken out my razer blade and made one yes?

Did it come off easy

 

Yes very easy. Started up at the top and just slowly worked my way down. Almost no glue left behind and the little bit that was left behind came off very easy with WD40. When I was done, I washed and waxed the whole truck. Only stickers of any kind are the ones I put on the tailgate.

There has been many reports of them failing on earlier models - at the wrong time; my truck is one of the earlier models. They are about $100 and I'd prefer to pay that now vs dealing with being stuck somewhere and dealing with getting home and getting it fixed under warranty.

 

Installed a RCI rack today. Also bought a CVT tent but didn't get that installed today.

 

Yeah that magnesium is sharp. I have the black Method Holes and wasn't really paying attention when I ordered them. Needless to say they were mounted and it was too late to go back. I have a 1/4" spacer on the front so that it won't rub the caliper.

Nice looking rig though.

Since I have a Rokform phone case it's usually difficult for me to have a proper mount, so I modified a proclip mount to work with Rokform. I used heavy duty double sided tape and a mason jar piggy bank topper. Hopefully I didn't make the interior too ugly with this mod.
