Details on what shackle and pin setup that is please! I just installed the BPF recovery point, and cannot put a 3/4" shackle on with the TRD skid in the way.
    Thanks

Probably local parts store. Only want for a glow. Not for a spot light. If I do that, I will get a 30" for below the grill.

It looks pretty strong, I will know for sure this winter tho! Its secure, you can't open it unless the tailgate is down. All the new Tacomas as you probably already know have locking tailgates! Its a pretty nice unit for the money!

Yea they have been treating me well. Oddly quiet for how aggressive they are. I have hit some mud but nothing to write home about. I tend to do more offroading in the winter. Ill be trying to get the truck out soon and let you know.

    Tight.
    Haha

    Spec is 52 ft lbs.
Bolt part number is 90119-A0193 (2x)
    Hook part number is 51961-35080
(No idea on price.. mine were leftovers)

I also need to go outside and flip it over. Somehow I had a lapse of concentration and jammed it on there upside down. New picture is the correct way.
They also require longer bolts than the factory bracket. (Picture attached)

I have the BPF recovery point as well and the shackle is a Smitty Built 3/4" with black finish. BPF's site says the recovery point will accept a 3/4".
    • It allows you to use a 3/4 shackle with a 7/8s pin. (shackle not included***)
I had to sand some of the black finish off the pin to get it to fit in the hole on the BPF part, though. I don't understand how the skid is in the way? I installed my skid last Sunday. I had installed the recovery point and shackle months ago. The skid went on fine and there is plenty of clearance around it. Are you sure the BPF Recovery Point is on correctly?
