Heated seats. Man that would be cool but so worthless here in Socal.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
One of my favorite mods here in northern BC. I just did heated mirrors and they're handy too.

If only a heated steering wheel swap was a cheap mod... I'd like to put a heated wheel from a new LC in, but even ebay ones cost a fortune

It wasn't too bad. If you have seat covers you can just install them under those. I installed then under the factory covers though. Check out the first post of mybuild thread for help taking the covers off. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I did take the seat out but it wasn't too difficult. Check out the first post in my build thread for help on taking the seats apart. It's actually not terrible. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I replaced the crapped out mud flaps with new ones and replaced the fogged and cracked tail lights with some fine Taiwanese units, fit well, work as required

Oil changed and re-greased the 5 zerks. Mobile 1 5W-30 synthetic and Toyota Filter. This weekend will be spark plugs since I just rolled over 30k...

First oil change with the Fumoto Valve... made it so much easier!

    Never enough, never done.
Made some new ditch light brackets today. pretty simple mod, just bent some 10 gauge into an L, drilled the holes and used an existing bolt hole on the mirror to mount. If anyone wants to do this there's a few things I'd advise, like use a stud instead of the factory bolt in the mirror, it's WEAK! After removing a broken bolt twice I decided to use a stud and it worked much better. I just cut some little lengths of M5 threaded rod to make the studs. Also used a nylon spacer around the stud that fits up into the recess and gives the bracket a flat surface to seat against. IMO mounting ditch light this way is superior to the a-pillar area type that bolt to the hood hinges in that the lights don't glare off the top of the hood/fender, they actually light up the tire area, and it's almost free, about 5 bucks in materials.
