    ...too much shit to list.
Need and want are two different things. Not my first boosted rodeo. Had the smaller pulley on my old taco as well. I peak at 5 right now.
When it comes to power upgrades I like to appreciate them as it changes. I hopped on the GB because of the price. At the end of the day I'm not trying to break any land speed records. It's still a truck. I go faster than most just with shock tuning. Boosted or not.

    Concerning the URD CAI

I have both the shield and the weird bag on it.

Just need to keep in mind when you're crossing bodies of water, so far, I've been ok

What's up guys, having my magnuson installed Tuesday at the dealer. $1200
Figured it's worth it, the tech has done dozens of Trd superchargers.
So my question, can you use the TRD reflash instead of the bully dog tunner with the magnuson kit? If so which is better to do the reflash or run the bully dog?
    Thanks

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Trd flash has been shown to work, despite warnings of it not. 1200 seems steep, when it was a trd product it was supposed to be installed at the accessory rate which is lower than normal shop rates at the dealership. May not apply anymore though. At least he's done them already.

1200 is about the going rate in California.

Yeah for me $1200 is worth saving the time & knuckles. Not to mention helps when I go to sell it

I got quoted $1200 in Orange County. It was a $100 more in Los Angeles.

I just wonder which is a safer route. Some people seem to be having a bit of trouble with the bully

i'm not the most mechanically inclined but i'm going to self-install because of the lure of $1,000+ more free $$$ for other goodies. that could cover gauges and headers/exhaust.

i got the URD 2.85 pulley but i may start with the default barebones install and swap the pully after working through any bugs.

12+ hours for install I personally don't think 1200 is that bad... 100/hour is fairly normal.
When TRD kits were available I saw install prices quoted from 500-1500 depending on dealer, there was no standard rate.

Speak for yourself. I called a couple of Bay Area dealers and they wanted a range from 2800-3900

The dealer who quoted me 3900 told me the standard install time was 25 hours...

    About that...
