I just installed my custom made neoprene red interior. Can't say how bright and nice it looks with white.

Got quite a bit of snow today, so naturally had to go play in it. Mounted up a shovel and some maxtrax's to help when i was up in the hills. They both came in handy, as well as a good hatchet.

1983 restoration in progress, major mods so far new 6" lift and 35" Mickey Thompsons.

Jeff, I would have to agree with 9er and Jerry, he didn't have something installed correctly. For those gears to wear out at 1k miles, something bad wrong. Soft gears, WTF! They are gears, nothing soft about them unless there was an issue when they were manufactured. I hope he gets it right, at this point with all the trouble you've had, I would start looking for another gear guy. If Nitro gets you new gears you would only have labor costs, for a job done right and piece of mind it may be worth it.

I also believe if there was an issue with the front you would have heard something either when driving at highway speeds of when offroad. My only concern is that the front is not under a constant load as the rear is.

Dude sorry you're having such a hard time, I know you were excited to get the gear swap done.

Get it back and drive it.It may feel like a new truck again. Change oil before you go to Florida and have them check it. If it feels great, go for it. Besides it would be the 110 percent test.If it makes the trip you will feel 120 percent confident when you get back.
