What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Just picked up a set of the Hella 130/90 watt headlight bulbs. Will be interesting to see how much brighter they are than stock. Also to see how the stock wires will handle it. I'll have to do some checking with my voltmeter to see how much of a change these make over stock bulbs in regards to resistance.

Also I was doing some measuring of the rear fender height from ground to the top of the fender. I have the firestone air bags installed with each line running an individual bag and noticed quite a difference in how much air I needed on the drivers side just to keep the height the same. Left side is running 22lbs of and the right is running 10. I know the fuel tank runs down that side but that is quite a big difference just to make up the difference. Anyone who's run these bags know a few psi makes a huge difference in height.

 

I just picked up a Tepui roof-top tent! Really stoked about getting it set up. Ordered the rack from Front Runner which should be here by Friday. Might just be able to sneak in a winter camping trip this weekend.

 

Just did the map / dome light mod , I still have to install Led's . Another 400w Kenwood amp coming tomorrow.. OH yea ripped the Mic wires out of the Bluetooth plug Thank God I was not the first to do this , some had a pix of wire placement LOL

 

make sure you pull the fuse under the hood.

already did it , never pulled the fuse it works OK why ?

 

When you install the led's. They have been know to blow the fuse when installed.

Gave her a bath for the first time in a while. Did a little mall-crawler flex in honor of the stock chrome rims.

Wow I didn't even know we could do this!!! Awesome!!! One question though. Can you still control the window manually? Like if i want to crack the window only a little, can it be done? or does it only go FULL up or FULL down with this mod? I read through the thread you used but can't find a definitive answer on this.
