Unfortunately no. I did send an email to JT's earlier today but have gotten no response. Don't even know if they got it yet but I would assume they should have. Trying to be patient. Difficult though that's for sure. Already given up on the idea of taking it to Florida next week.

They said they have Mobil syn for their house oil but never could verify it. At the 5000 mile change to dumb women spec writer said it took 50/50. At that point I knew she didn't know much so I told her to put in Mobile 1. To save money from them charging me vs me bring ing my own is the reason for bringing my own. 1/2 the cost. BUT, I brought a 5 gallon container and 2 quarts (truck takes 6.2 quarts with filter change). So when finished I ask where the rest of my oil was, the spec writer went and asked the mechanic and he said since I brought 7 quarts he put it all in ! He was not use to using customer oil, they just dial it up on the dispenser (mistake proof, think proof :) ). He then admitted his mistake and drained almost a quart out back into the quart container....My stick still shows a tic over full mark so I ordered a $20 fluid pump and will pump out what's needed to bring it back to the full mark....To say the least I wasn't very happen with their lack of knowledge.

I think you should look for another service department!

I have one near me that I will never use. I drive 40 minutes to a different one that I trust.

Got my Prinsu Designs rack mounted today. No thanks to the no-good-dirty-rotten Toyota quality control which installed two of the threaded inserts wrong in the roof of the truck. Nothing a fresh tap couldn't handle. IMG_0326.jpgIMG_0327.jpg IMG_0328.jpg

6 quarts is what my local service department put in my truck. Shows a toothpick width below the overfull dot on the dipstick. I'm going to ask next year on after my last free oil change if I can bring my own oil for them to put in. I'll just have to have faith they put the oil in I brought. (If they will let me bring my own)

I was 23 when I bought my 16 TRD OR. 100% on my own. Haven't been under my parents roof since 4 days after high school grad. I secured my own college education, commissioned into the USAF and provide on my own. There are some of us youngins who actually have ambition, drive, and a work ethic. lol

for the sake of argument, My dad came from a disheveled, dysfunctional and broken family. They're all either dead, jailed, deadbeat. He grew up not being cared for, in less than ideal situations.

He now has 5 degrees, with a desire to pursue his PhD, while having served 30 years in the military, the last 7 of those being as an E-9 (highest achievable rank)

He went from poor delivery boy working 3 jobs to one of the top rated DoD people in his career field.

That may explain why I am doing well, but by your statement, he should of never of made it that far. ;)

I believe it is more the individual. While upbringing does have an impact, each individual has the choice to either let it define them and go down the same paths, or break ground and make your own.
