    We do not have one for the 2016 and on. We are still working on one for the 2016 plus tailgate locks. We have tried a few designs but did not like the fit. We have a new design that will be out next year, it will be worth the wait.

    Those are modified washers for a computer hard drive that was destroyed. I was looking for the DIY approach. I do have CNC machines so the mods were easy however it could be done on a drill press. :)

    Put this clamp on my 2014 Gen 2. Took it off when I traded for my 2016 Gen 3. Took about 10 mins to install . Much cheaper than a new tailgate !!

    My dad had his Ranger's tailgate jacked at his job. He ended up spray painting a piece of plywood red and writing Ford on it...lmao. I will definitely be doing this little mod on my precious Taco.

    Yeah, I have an old T100, never worried about it. You don't have a problem until AFTER they take it, huh?
    But as soon as I got the Tacoma it was done.

    Wow, I never thought about this till now. I just purchased my first truck. I tried to skim through the pages for a question I have, but 56 pages is too many. So, I'll ask and if it's been answered please forgive me. It also may seem like a stupid question. I have a 2017 Sport with a factory cover and the tail gate has a lock. So long as the tail gate is locked...I wouldn't have to worry about someone being able to take the gate off, right?? I most certainly don't want to assume anything. Of course, it's up to me to ensure it's always locked. Thanks for the help.
