I don't need another charger but I know there were a few folks sprinkled throughout this thread who missed the GB that said they were interested. Maybe you could contact @TIM.TRDSparks to see if he would be willing to do another one.

For the cheapskates out there -

Here in NM the price differential between regular and premium gas is running $.40 - $.50 cents per gallon. So on a fillup, you're looking at $8-$10 extra on a full tank. So I have been alternating premium fills with regular + octane booster when I get to 1/4-1/2 a tank every other fill. A 12-pack of Cam2 octane booster from Amazon costs $23 so over the cost of the case (12 fillups) I end up saving around $50-60 net.

Note by alternating fills I never have more than about half a tank of boost+regular, and since the bottle says it will treat 20 gallons I think it's pretty safe. I have noticed no pinging, though I live at altitude and it is cold right now so it's less of a concern anyway.

Good on ya for trying to save a buck or two. But for me, that sounds too complicated to have to remember which I filled with on the last fill up, making sure to carry around the octane booster, remembering to order more before I use the last bottle etc.. Plus I'd have coordinate with my dear wife when she drives the truck on what to do if it needs fuel.

I think I'll just keep filling with 93. My previous daily driver used 93 so I'm used to hitting that button at the pump. I've filled the Taco with 93 the entire time even before the idea of a supercharger entered my mind. Our other two vehicles use 93. If I need to save a few bucks I'll make my own coffee in the morning once per tank instead of the froo-froo caramel macchiato from Starbucks.

I don't put much faith in octane boosters. I've heard (and read) they only raise the octane .3 or so points. Not 3 points. I'll stick with hitting the 93 button.

If it would make you more comfortable, I can post the portions of the FSM regarding the VSC. A little snippet; there is a lot more in the FSM regarding the VSC:

Yessir. This was my first Tacoma, purchased new in August 2010. I've used her extensively, even taking her through places people with 4wd thought were impossible for a PreRunner, and she's never let me down. Ever since I received a company vehicle, my PreRunner became my wife's Tacoma. My wife went from being a sports car sort of Lady to the off road type.

A year and a half ago I bought my 2014 supercharged 4wd, and now my wife wants a supercharger. LOL.

Nice, I was just messing with ya! I went to Home Depot today to get some lumber for decking part of my attic. The first time I've actually used the bed! I haven't even taken it off the pavement yet. I plan on using the truck for a lot more truck stuff but I've just had a busy couple of months.

Even if it could raise octane by the amount needed to get it to 93, I don't see how you would get a perfect mixture. I know every time you stop and go the fuel sloshes around in the tank but it seems a little hard to believe that you get a magical perfect mix just by pouring it in there.

I just fill up with premium at costco. It's strange here. Regular 87 is fairly close in prices, but on premium 93 it can be up to 60 cents a gallon difference between costco and regular stations. Friday I filled up for $2.39 a gallon at costco, the regular station down the street was $2.90.
