    Mine went in the closet (same on my 2005). I fold the seats down so often, I got tired of pulling out the headrests. There's also better visibility out the back without them when the seats are up.

    Haha I have had my Tacoma for 2 years and didn't know that. Last camping trip I left the headrests at home in a trash bag. HAHA.

    I know this is an old thread but does anyone else have an issue with this headrest not fitting in the holes with the seats folded down as described by the OP (and in the manual)?

    They fit tight. Make sure they are in the right direction and push them in.

    chrome valve stems covers
    Some people on this site including myself have bought one of these. They fit perfect when the seats are folded down and can be used for other things like crawling under the Truck.
