Looking for quickfits mounts and ideas for mounting shovels and what not to the bedrails. Anybody get it done by simply going to ace or home depot?

Picked up some quickfists and some flat bar. Still need to get harware and some sort of T nut to go in the bedrail. I got the deer in the headlight look when i asked home depot for a 3/8-16 t nut lolIMG_0754.jpgIMG_0739.jpg

I don't have pics but I have the dual quick fist mounts from @RelentlessFab. Really solid and I don't think you can make your own for what he sells them for.

For the T nuts, people on here say these are great. I plan to buy some. Paint them so they don't rust.

For now, a local option is unistrut nuts.
Maybe home depot, but the local industrial supply places will have them for sure. Search for electrical supply, maybe "Locke's supply".

    An example...

All I did was run a bolt through the quick fist, put a large washer behind it and thread it into the tnuts. I'll get a photo tomorrow.

Here's what i made before i bought the 5 pack of Tnuts. The head of the big bolt, i ground down on 2(opposite)sides(you can see in the photo) to make flat spots so it stayed in place in the bed rail. I wanted the shovel being held to be lower than the bedrail so it was kinda out of sight from afar.

    Love it!

I plan to do a shovel and smaller camp axe on one side and the high lift on the other.

Anybody make rubber bumpers or found another mounting location for the bottom end to minimize bounce on heavier loads?

I wonder if there is an overlanding forum here. I plan to mount and store lots of crap.

The Relentless ones have a tab at the bottom of the mount that goes against the side of the bed so they don't bounce or move at all.

I have 2 pairs of quickfists already. What does the mounting hardware look like in the rail? Looks like a nice bracket
