    Got the light bar installed in my wife's 07 4Runner. The output is amazing and the brackets are awesome. I will post up some pics when we get back to town. Couldn't be happier with the light bar and the brackets. I can't wait to order a set for my truck!

    I also ended up getting a light cover for the light bar and I'm un-happy with it big time. It's held on by magnets and a few of them (6) have come out of the cover (not the ones I glued to the light bar but the magnets that came in the cover from the factory) and the cover fell off while driving down a dirt road. I hope one day Caliraised re-thinks this design and moves to something that clips on to the light vs magnets.

    We haven't discussed a refund or anything like that yet. I PM'd him about the magnets coming out but haven't heard back yet. I figured he's busy with family so no rush. When I get back home I'll just silicon them back in since it came with extra's. The cover didn't take any real damage, just a few small scratches.

    Mounted my bar today, I'll have to wire it tomorrow which will likely be the easier part. My hands are entirely too big for the install. Beat the living crap out of them trying to get everything buttoned back up especially the drivers side outside nuts on the crash bar, those were a reach for my arms and hands. An install tip from my experience is do not place the second bracket into place until you get the light bar into position. With both mounts in place even with them still loose it took a bit of work to get it passed both brackets and everything else in there that wants to get in the way. Light bar took on a couple scratches in the interim but nothing major that I couldn't touch up. Overall, the set up looks pro. Once I get it wired up I will likely pull the grill back off to to adjust the aiming and while I am back there see if I can get the lightbar a little more center as it sits slightly more to the drivers side. Nothing major, quarter inch tops that most would never notice but my OCD kicked in once I spotted the difference.

    Chris, to clarify, we are to cut OFF the portion of the air dam below the red line in your instructions? Or make a slit where the red line is so the air dam slides over the bracket?
    It will probably be obvious once I start the install but thought I'd confirm before I begin after reading @SuperBad post.

    You are cutting it off. The LED is wider than the air dam and it sits in that area.

    Reading through this thread now so if it's already answered I apologize - but for those of us that removed the air dam and added the TRD Skid (3rd Gen) - any issues installing the apex mounts with the skid?

    Got my brothers truck all set up yesterday.

    What wire on the generic harness do I need to move to a switched source to make the red led on the switch turn off with the truck? I don't like the idea of parasitic draw.

    @CaliRaisedLed

    Can someone link me the tool I need to insert the nutserts in the A pillar? I have watched the install video and have found the tool but none with the correct size fitting as required in the install directions. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    So I worked on the light bar and air damn pieces again this weekend. Turns out it was user error reading were to cut on the air dam but i still had to drop the bracket down about a 1/16 of an inch to allow the lower clip to reach its destination. Its all wired up and wow its bright! Very happy with the purchase. Thanks Apex Fab @MojaveMadman and @CaliRaisedLed for a great deal on an awesome light and bracket!

    @Soccer Mom,

    I skimmed through this thread, but I didn't see a video where that tool was used. Could you please post a link to the one you saw it in? That tool is genius! I think I'm going to need one just on general principal.

    Thanks...
