Hmmm. My taco is a 2.7 auto with the TRD package. As far as I know, the ones that had the TRD package and were V6 got an e-locker for the rear end. I really want to be able to lock my rear axle. Heck, I even get stuck driving around my yard. Does anyone have one that has the rear locker? Could I put one on mine?

My understanding was even the 2.7L TRDs did not have a locker.

I thought trd was only V6. You can put a trd e locker in a non trd you have to swap out the whole rear axle though. E locked was 8" and non was 8.4"

This is an interesting read on the 4 cylinders

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/how-to-confirm-4-cyl-trd.105347/page-2

Tough to say if those 4cyl trucks really are TRD or just have the stickers

Ultimately just look and see if it has a locker. That is that main feature of trd. But I'm 99% certain that was not an option for the 4 bangers

Perhaps there were a few that were special ordered by the original owners

Made some changes, new bumper off a 01+, and body color rear bumper.

What do you think of the grill, should i go black or body color?

That front bumper looks so much better than the original.

Do what YOU think looks best, not what we internet types think looks best.
If you have a significant other, I'd go there for opinions that really matter. :D

Actually black will add some contrast as you do not have black fender flares to counter the silver

Doesn't stick out too far, I do have the winch and it filled up a lot nicer. When I did not have a winch and lights I welded my tabs inside just to fill that gap, because without the winch the gap looked a little odd, but still nothing that bad. If you aren't going for a winch bumper maybe look into a steel bumper as opposed to tube.
