humming coming from my truck bed?

    Why would there be humming coming sound coming from my bed?I was in my garage I heard this humming noise but it was coming from my bed I don't under stand it turn my truck on moved it . But there was snow in my bed of my truck. Its a 2014 any Ideas

    I have heard my gas tank, filler tube and cap , making a sound at several times.

    Probably a slight pressure buildup, in the tank. Of course the tank is vented, through the, stock un-modified fuel tank vapor recovery system.

    At times, usually warmer days, I can hear the vapor moving through the system; and the sound may be at a check valve.

    Holy $&@/! I had the same thing. I thought WTF is going on here!?!? Just normal I suppose. Well isn't my taco full of surprises.

    I have , today. had the same noise. like something is running, under the bed of at 2016 Tacoma. I haven't driven for a few hours, turn on the engine and off then the noise stopped. any ideas?

    Yes as mentioned above it is a normal evaporative emissions system check.
