Who's made 'em give you the 3+1 TSB springs?

Dealer replaced mine for free because of a TSB for a 15-25mph vibration.

Check your frame just above the rubber snubbers. If you can see where they have been hitting, go to your dealer and tell him that you want the "harsh ride" TSB. That's what will get it done.

doesnt apply do 2012+'s though you could make a good case.

I had mine replaced under the driveline shudder TSB and made sure they got 3+1's under my truck vs the 2+1's that come stock on the TRD OR's

Still an absolute shit leaf spring... so floppy n soft it likes to wrap like no ones business. Ill be looking at putting something different under the truck come this spring.

I bought a take-off set from a 2017 and put it on yesterday. Waiting for it to settle out a bit before taking final measurements but it appears to have brought back some rake.

I have a 2012 and i never bothered with it. They dont seem to be any better? I added Icons AAL. Doubt it's any sturdier, but it sure does ride nice!

Huh, I had no idea that this didn't apply to 2012+. Just like the whining rear diff in my '14 that Toyota denies can exist. They fixed thousands of these prior to '14 but mine does it and they won't address it.

The TSB completely removed the vibrations on my Tacoma. Not always the case for everyone, might depend on the skill of the mechanic to accurately measure the correct angles to determine the proper leaf pack used.

I also insisted on replacing the 2+1 leaf pack with a 3+1.

WTF are you talking about!? The springs literally "bolt right up". There are no "angles" to take into consideration in the install.

HAD them on my DCLB Sport. They sucker out loud. Found a set of dakars, removed the 3rd leaf, installed with 5125s and simply couldn't be happier. A little stiff unloaded, but with 300# of traction sand in the bed, it's quite comfortable.

Correct, the springs do bolt right up. The TSB aso replaced the steering wheel damper and transmission mount.

Incorrect, angles do need measurement to determine the correct spring pack, per
    the TSB.

From my original post regarding the 15-25mph driveline TSB, url included at the bottom.

"Picked up my Tacoma and the 15/25mph vibration is gone.
Per the work order TSB found "P/A" angle at 4.4 and "F/A" angle at 4.3
Replaced trans mount, leaf springs and steering wheel damper.

I requested 4 leaf springs if they needed replacement and that is what I got. So for me it's a win, win, vibration fixed and I got my 3 leaf springs replaced with 4 leaf.

    Parts description:
    1) insulator engine
    1) spring assy RR L
    1) spring assy RR
    1) Damper, steering
    2) screw w/washer
    4) bolt U
    8) nut flange
    8) washer plane
    2)bumper RR spring"
