Bumper Disassembly... Anybody done it?

    Within 24 hours of driving my taco off the lot someone smashed into my bumper and didn't leave a note.

    The dealer hooked me up with a free part to replace the shattered chrome/plastic but I have to do the work myself.

    I looked underneath and it looks like only two bolts hold the chrome panel in place but they're underneath the whole bumper, so I have to take the whole thing apart.

    It's not as intuitive as I'd hoped so I was curious if any of you have done it and can give me pointers so I don't screw it up.

    Good luck! Pretty cool of the dealer to give you a freebie, seems like those caps aren't cheap.

    Haha I definitely found #22 so thanks again.

    Yeah, I think they felt bad for me since I hadn't even had the truck 24 hours. Looks like the caps are $178 so that was definitely cool of them.
