What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I will havent had to go out in the dark recently, but they emit a horizontal beam instead of a flood light

 

I have a bunch of those stall mats on the floor of my gym. need to get more to finish it off, but they are good for things like that!

 

Thanks! Out the door it was $1500 and the heated seats were $350 on top of that. You have to go through tops and trends to get them and it's gotta be a box sale and then I got James to install due to him cutting me a deal on the heated seats. The guys at tops and trends are idiots

 

I had it professionally installed by a local shop. they do great work.

 

No write up really. But it is discussed HERE in my build thread. I did all of that with absolutely zero experience so anybody could do it

If they dealership hadn't thrown in the OEM mat as part of the deal when I bought my truck thats exactly what I would have.

 

Fog light anytime mod. Hard to tell in the picture, but matches the yellow fogs really well.

 

Looks really good. Ill trade you my stock headlights, chrome grill surround with a TRD Pro insert for yours.(LOL)

Yeah, using a bigger wire is fine. Solder it if you want it to last. Those crimp connectors, especially on smaller wires, don't make nearly as good/reliable of connections compared to a decent solder joint.

 

Anyone interested in 3D printed brackets for the corners of their bed? Made these and I'll put them on Thingiverse if anyone cares. Or $9+ shipping for a pair if you really want them and don't have a printer. (PS. The light bracket is bent, the 3D printed bracket is solid) Mounts with M5 hardware.

 

Wow, that is super clean. Judging by the computer in the background I'm assuming you are good with electronics?

I want to do something like this sooner than later but it will take a lot of research first (and probably some trial and error lol)

No worries man!! I bet you'd sell some since they're an inexpensive alternative to other options out there. I bet they'd fit in a small "if it fits it ships" box so you could sell them for $20 to their door.
