Hey guys! Despite being far from finished with the Yota I figured I might as well start a build thread early to watch it grow. And..Here..We...Go!

    2015 TRD Sport
V6 4x4 long bed fully loaded.
Purchased May 31st 2015 with 18 miles on odometer
    *May 31st 2016- 9,800 miles. Maintenance- oil,filters,tires
    *May 31st 2017- 20,000 miles. Maintenance- oil,filters,tires
    *May 31st 2018- 28,000 miles. Maintenance- oil,filters,tires
    *May 31st 2019- 31,000 miles. Maintenance- oil,filters,tires
    *May 31st 2020- 35,500 miles. Maintenance-oil,filters, diffs,tc,brakes,rotors,spark plugs

    As she sits today :mudding:

    Day 1 of Ownership

Window Tint- 5% back, 20% front . Highly recommended. Gives it a sleek look, and keeps it dark and cool inside.

N-FABs- Edit: Replaced with Bamf sliders

Roof Rack- Love this rack, it is very functional and gives the truck a nice look in my opinion. Got in on ebay for around 200 bucks.

Roof Rack Light Bar- 42" Penton light bar and OTRATTW switch. Mounted it to my custom brackets and ran the wire down the passenger column. The light is very bright and kicks ass. Very fun project that took about a weekend.

Lower Valance Light Bar- Ordered this off Amazon. Cut and dremeled a small portion of the lower valance. Turned the mounts horizontally and mounted it to the top of some angle iron and the bottom to the crash bar. Pretty easy install. Very bright and more useful than the roof bar in my opinion. If you are only going to do one light, do the valance.

Bed Mat- Got off ebay for 100 bucks. A must have!

Bed Lights- Ordered 5050 cool white led strip off ebay and this switch to fit in the back storage compartment cubby. Ran a wire from the back cubby all the way under the truck to the battery and through the firewall for a second switch for in the cab. VERY useful and recommended for campers and outdoorsmen...and for 18 bucks total its kind of a no-brainer.

Buzzer Delete Mod- Got REALLY tired of that damn buzzer going off all the time. Was really annoying when driving 3mph in a campsite or trying to open the doors and play music. I yanked the entire buzzer out and covered up the seatbelt warning light with a piece of electrical tape. Problem solved. Follow this thread. Pretty simple if you've previously taken your dash apart. One of my favorite mods LOL :headbang:

Wet Okoles- Charcoal and black. They are nice and I love them. People do not believe me when i tell them they are covers, they are that good... However they are very expensive. UPDATE: Still going 4 years strong.

Switches- All OTRATTW. Used the 2 blank slots, moved the RSCA switch inside by the fuses since I'll never use it, and moved the traction control button up top that way all my OTRATTW switches line up.

Full Debadge- I was very hesitant at first but glad I took the dive! So much cleaner!

Flush Mount Reverse Lights :yay: A more difficult project, but not to bad if you take your time. There's not a whole lot of room behind there so make sure everything is good before you cut. Measure twice, cut once. A must have since my windows are tinted, backing up at night was a bitch. Tied into the backup lights in the trailer harness. It's the yellow wire.

Trailer Harness Relocation- Another project to take your time on, but so worth it since Toyota dropped the ball on the original location. Do it before yours gets ripped off while wheeling!

    New decals by Cboy808

LIFT Wheels & Tires!!- 285/70/17 Toyo AT's on Fuel Hostages. Bilstein 5100's all round at 2.5 and 2" AAL in the rear. Edit- replaced with 2.5 kings with 650 coils and JBA UCAs

    Snow & Adventure Pics!

Rear Diff Breather Mod- Pretty straightforward, just need the 2 fittings and 6' of 5/16 fuel line and you're set!

Clock Install and Carbon Fiber Wrap- Followed this write up for the clock.
I get asked about the CF wrap....ALOT. No way to explain it really, you just learn as you go.:bikewheelie: It is simple once you get the hang of it. Don't forget the heat gun. The AC vent was the hardest to wrap.

Lighted 4x4 switch and center console swap- An older 4runner switch is what you need. Power is pulled from 2 wires behind the HVAC panel
    *Edit*- Switched to Hilux switch

Overhead Compass/Temp Display!- It was very time consuming and required alot of prep work, but I love my functional overhead console. That double sunglass holder console was such a waste. Discussed in detail on page 4 of this thread.

    Fighter Pilot Shift Knob

Hood Lights- Not a bad way to spend 15 bucks ;)

Stealth Mounted Wireless Phone Charger!- Followed this write up for the power outlet mod. Wired up an extra outlet and tucked it away under the console to plug in my phone charger and epoxied the plate under the console.

Weatherstripped the door to get rid of the horrible wind noise! And it works!!! :gossip:

Rock lights!- Used some left over led strips from my bed and hood light projects. They come on with the dome light and key fob. Run power from the fuse box under the hood. The ground is tapped into the blue wire in the A-pillar. Do not ground the black wire! Its awesome lighting up under the truck as I approach it, and I didnt have to worry about wiring up a switch.
*EDIT- The Led strips fell off, need to figure out how to mount some pods down there.

Power Outlet- Added a power outlet to the back of the of center console! Definitely comes in handy.

Dome light with map light mod!
    Write up

    Fog lights anytime mod! :bananadance::bikewheelie2:

Cali Raised Led Ditch lights! :yay: :goingcrazy:

    More Adventure Pics!

    Remote Starter!!

    Purchase here

    Install video
    Wire connections

    Hilux lighted 4x4 switch!!

Hilux lighted 4x4 switch finally finished and it looks awesome! Much cleaner than my 4runner switch. Ring to complete the mod can be ordered here

    Sound Deadener!

Did all 4 doors, floor, roof and the back wall. Very time consuming, 30+ hours, but the results are very noticeable and worth it. Your hands will get tore up, its inevitable. Ordered some Noico from here.

    Anytime Front and Rear Camera!

    Ordered from @Logistics91

    Truck payment delete mod complete!

March 2019. Never felt better! :yay: :mudding:

    BAMF Sliders

    PelfreyBilt Bumpers and skids!

    Homelink Mirror

Picked one up cheap from a TW member. Love the garage opener!

    New Lift!

King 2.5 Resi with adjusters and 650 springs. JBA UCAs

Wheelers superbumps and U-Bolt Flip Kit

Flattened the pinch weld too while I was at it

    Next to come

    1. Rear King Shocks
    2. LED pod rock lights
    3. Snorkel

*Thanks for looking and stay tuned for more. I'm keeping this truck until one of us is dead so there is much more to come. Open to all comments, questions, and criticism. Happy modding everyone!!

No mods as of yet other than the fact that it is lifted. I just purchased the vehicle, so I am eager to see what everyone is doing with their rigs!
I love this. I'm was thinking about doing the same thing to my truck! It's nice to see what it might look like before actually going ahead with it.

Believe it or not, it does come quite in handy every once in awhile. Specially when camping or loading off-road toys.

Did you make the custom brackets for the light bar yourself, or did another TW member make them? I already installed the OEM roof rack, and I now I want to buy a 42" curved light bar, but I need to find the brackets for it first. Thanks for your time!

Yeah, where did you get the wrap?
Did you have to disassemble the pieces to do it?

I got some 5'x1' 3M wrap off eBay for like 25 bucks. Also picked up a heat gun as this is necessary as well. Every piece I did was removed. Hardest to remove and wrap was the stereo surround. You have to disassemble the entire dash to get to it, and its a mother fu**** to wrap towards the bottom of the trim. Everything else was pretty reasonable.

Go to a junkyard/ebay and pick up a 4 runner 4x4 switch, cant remember the exact year.. early 2000s I believe. Pull off the HVAC and splice into the 2 wires in the picture, solder that connection to the 2 terminal wires that you will buy, that run to the only two available slots on the back of the 4x4 switch. It is a pain taking out the old switch as the entire dash/trim/radio needs to be removed to do this. I stole this idea from @nazlax10 and it worked great, he was very helpful as well.. He will chime in if I have any incorrect information

The switch is from a 2003-2006 4runner. Make sure the switch is from a v6 not a v8. The part number is 84724-35020.
