That is true. I might look into this once my truck turns into 150K or if the bearings sound bad. Just hope it ain't over 1K expensive.

 

I think it's around 1k for new rotors. Bearings shouldn't be that much though and oil flush.

 

I already changed out the bearings in the nose cone. Hopefully I can work something out with magnasonon replacing 2 bearings out.

I know someone made a tool to take the rear bearings out without cutting any holes in the SC but after lending it towards a couple of people they never returned it back.

 

The rear ones? Hell I did that myself. You don't have to cut any holes or anything.

I have read this thread before but I was really confused on how he says he "beat them out of the rear" is there some kind of thin plate in the rear of the SC that can be removed to see the rear bearings?

 

No. Your looking at them at the rear. They just poke out. Put a socket and extension on them and hammer away. Bitch to get in too.

 

Alright so once I remove the rotor from the SC housing I should see the rear bearings but the rear of my SC looks like the photo below.
The other photo was from a 1st gen supercharger if your basically referring to that.

 

Ahhh looks like you have to pop out the freeze plugs. Not sure then. Sorry man. Mines a 1st gen one.

put some new lower ball joints and wheel spacers on last night cuz it was abnormally nice out
Now I can go down the highway without worrying about my ball joints suddenly blowing out .

Sure they look cute now. But wait till you meet one. Horses have personalities that are inversely related to their size. Huge draft breeds are generally calm and have a flat or even nice demeanor. Smaller breeds can be fiery and wound up.
