How much are the UCONs? I vaguely remember them being pretty expensive. Might look for a used ECU and swap out. Mine seems to run similar to what @moodywizard describes. Runs ok until I hammer down, then she squeals like a pig and roars to life. I really need to install my afr, just need to find time. Maybe next time there is a nice day, I'll be *cough* sick *cough* from work.

@moodywizard what do you mean "how did it drive" after the reflash? Well, I basically fishtailed out of the parking lot, found a nice secluded side road, I mean closed course track, and then did a burnout all the way through to 3rd gear. After that the performance mods started getting installed, and its been downhill ever since.

Question- do you guys have an actual AFR gauge or are you pulling it through OBD. I thought I read that the OBD was pretty far off and had a bit of a lag when it came to AFRs.

I have a small exhaust leak, which I think is causing my boost numbers to be down a bit, but the other day (about 50ish degrees outside) I saw 7.5 psi , so thats fun.

At dyno, this is in open loop then. Not make sense. Mine A/F goes down immediately in open loop.

Ok guys, called the dealer and spoke with someone actually knowledgeable.

They told me that used ecus are not able to reprogram the vin, they've tried a few times.

Also you can reflash the ecu even though it's been programmed. Fuck yes I'm going tomorrow morning. They've actually installled a few superchargers on tundras and such so sounds like they know what they are doing. Keeping fingers crossed.

Also I read that login said they couldn't reflash because of the ecu cal id was already programmed. In my case it ends with a 200 and there's an updated file that ends in 400 so maybe that will help my cause even more...

Hope you´ll get it reflashed. :fingerscrossed:

They said they've tried to do a few but didn't work. I haven't read or heard of anyone successfully done it to our Toyota vintages yet so I'll have to take the dealers word for now

If I can actually get a mongoose cable, I will try it on mine through techstream. There has to be a way to do it. It would be stupid to not be able to. What happens if the file gets corrupt? You are stuck cause they can't reflash it?

I'll mention it to them when I'm there tomorrow about the vin and try to get more details.

I have two Innovate LC-2 wideband kits with one sensor in each exhaust manifold. The two LC-2 wideband controllers are wired to two Speedhut AFR gauges.

Sorry to hear this, my friend. But I completely understand. I believe I would be doing the the exact same thing. I really love my truck and plan to keep it a very long time, but if I were faced with a $6,000 repair bill after already dumping $6,000+ into a supercharger and supporting mods I would probably want to cut and run as well.
