I'll give it a go and report back. I ordered my kit on 1/1/17. I know TRS was going through different bulb-seals/o-rings bases on the huge Morimoto thread here. How much resistance did you feel when installing your bulbs? I am on stock tires and stock ride height.

just a tad of resistance when installing them, i can move the hid bulbs when they are on and in the socket. i swapped the stock ones back in and try to move them up and down but it doesnt budge at all ( i parked about 3 feet away from my garage and can see the light ) tried both and thats how i know that the new high density o rings isnt going to work, it helps but doesnt fix the problem. i've already swapped the stock o rings over and still the same. you can feel high hard the stock rings are vs the morimotos. the only difference is the size of the stock vs the morimotos. if they make them a tad taller it would probably fix the problem.

There isn't an exact one for our trucks that I know of, but here is a close example using a canbus system (which we don't need):

    TRS H11 Install Guide: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/media/custom/upload/EliteHIDSystem-H11.pdf

@mulishan909 - I have now had some time to drive my truck at night due to working late this week. I traveled some pretty bumpy back roads and even the road I live on has some culvert work resulting in tearing up part of the road. I cannot see any shake/bounce in the light pattern. I have the 6500k bulbs which may be part of it. I know there was a theory earlier that bulb color/type may have some part in the issue. FYI - my color is closer to 5500k since I am using the 50W ballast. Also, I also had a lot of resistance when installing the bulbs - more resistance than the factory halogens with the factory o-ring. So I feel they are very tight in the housing. I'm happy that I got a good set.

Installed my 35watt with 4500K 2 weeks ago without any problems of flicker or bounce issues.

Where did you happen to put all of your balasts and harnesses? I just got mine in the mail and have been trying to figure out the best place to mount all this stuff.

    Where you want to be
TRS, if you are reading this, can you verify if you found a solution to the light bounce that some have experienced?

My rubber gasket rings are so tight that I haven't even had luck getting the bulb to rotate in the light housing! I may have to use some Vaseline to help it slide outward and lock into place. Anyone else with the same experience?

My driver side gasket is really tight, I couldn't tighten it all the way by hand when I first installed, you can tell the driver bulb is ever so slightly aimed higher probably because of it. I'll take it out this weekend and see if I can get it all the way in this time. The passenger side was easy and went it with just a little effort.

Yes they were very tight. It took a good three or four tries to get the lamps situated securely. I didn't use any lubricant though.

I had to really "reach back for something extra" when trying to tighten mine. They will go, and when the do they are so firmly installed that they will not bounce. That could be part of the problem for others - people not fully engaging the bulb with the stiffer gasket may get bounce.

Would you guys say the 5500k comes the closest white to what the led bar produces on the gen 3s. I saw one the other today that had the blue glow and that with the drl white just looked off.

Got a box of goodies yesterday at The Retrofit Source. They're local, so I stopped in and brought a box home. Thanks @TRSJimmy for the help. Now I just need a free afternoon to get everything installed.

Went with the XB fogs and the 35w, 5500k HID system. The 5500 bulb is supposed to be a close match to the light color of the Morimoto XB fogs.

I just installed my kit today. I have the "higher density" grommets. The install was easy and the lights put out awesome light. They do have a little bounce in them. The factory bulbs did too. The bulbs are very tight in the housing. I think the bounce is from the projector myself. I will take the higher output with a minor bounce vs halogen bulbs any day.

if it was the housing then the halogens would bounce. People using other brands of hid's don't experience the bounce either
