Jimmy - aside from the high angle boots, what else do I need to get to refurbish my pair of CV's?

^ this almost. You leave a C clip in to hold the boot, not a clamp.

To add to it I put some RTV on the spot the boot will sit on since it wont sit in the "groove" anymore and clamped it from there. This is a first gen thread about it but I assume you can do similar for second gen cv's.

    Problem is it's messy.

Does it come with inner and outer clamps? My SDHQ boots only came with outers.

Yeah. My CV's are my original one's from over 12 years ago and the boot rubber is starting to get stiff and possibly brittle. I have two spare OEM CV's that I want to refurbish and put on new boots and swap out my original CV's and keep them as trail spares.
    Doing the initial research now.

I guess I should keep some boots on hand. Trucks been lifted for 72,000 miles :anonymous:

I was quoted 4-5 hours of labor to install this today. Sounds like 3 hours too high. I'm told the strut mounts would be 2.5 hours alone. Can anyone confirm this?

I did front springs and aal and all 4 shocks aswell as upper control arms in my driveway with the only knowledge of lifting tacomas being what I read on here in 4 hours with hand tools. I think they are pulling a fast one on you to be honest.

I figured it had something to do with a shackle flip
