I just saw a bunch of posts yesterday, but can't find them. What tube benders are we all running. I know the Model 32 is popular, but about some cheaper options for occasional use?

I've used the same jd2 model 3 for over 10 years. All the manual benders worth a shit are the same price. All the money goes into the dies you purchase. I'd expect to spend $300-400 for the actual Bender and $200-350 for the dies. I haven't seen anything cheaper put out professional quality results.

They hold their value very well, so generally used price is very close to new price. I'd just convert it to air/hydro using a harbor freight ram. I've been running one for about 10 years and it can be done for under $200. In 10 years I've only had to replace the ram 1 time about 2 years ago because the hose finally rotted out.

Anybody have ideas on race radios and making them compatible with ham radios? I'm looking to get a hands free set up when driving around closest thing I found is race radios in helmets. I don't need helmets just radios and some hands free communication to ham radios
