so this happened and now I'm torn between just getting a after market bumper or getting repaired with oem parts. Has anyone had the pleasure of having to take of their rear bumper? If you look closely I think the part thats bent is called the re-enforcer. does anyone know if that just bolts on and off? I hit a small pole at that I couldn't see. Anyone have suggestions for after market or want to share experiences putting one on? thanks you bunch of Tac-omo's...

That little piece of plastic will likely cost you as much as an entire aftermarket bumper.

If you don't have BSM, get an aftermarket one. If you do have BSM, know that it won't work with most aftermarket bumpers. As far as I know, C4 Fabrication is the only one to have a bumper that'll work with BSM, but the styling is a bit off IMO...

Well if your goal was to go aftermarket then now is a good time.

So I'm guessing it's going to be expensive either way... anyone like the Fab Fours bumpers?

Yes I have the regular one... for the same reason. OEM bumper comes off pretty easy takes longer to take off than to put the new plate bumper on. Fab4 bumpers are nice cause you can order one and not have to wait for it to be custom maid for you.

Sorry for your loss... cell phone anyone?? Oh wait till I get in my car so I can make that important phone call.. and run into a truck. geeese

Agree with everyone, good time for an upgrade. What are you currently looking at as an option?

Can I buy your black bumper caps? I have the chrome and want to change them.

They are both nice but I didn't like the vengeance front bumper.... So I went plain...

IF you need that top plastic piece which looks like the only thing broken... I have the complete bumper all parts ... I won't be needing them so if you decide to return to stock I can send you the parts you need just pay shipping.

Edit: There's a top meta plate as well that looks bent... I have that piece as well.

So I don't know if this helps, but someone backed into me and broke a bunch of clips on my front bumper. Ended up being $1200 worth of damage because they have to replace the whole thing. So, I am taking that money and upgrading to a steel bumper.

Nice, my front plate bumper didn't even cost that much... you'll have room for a light bar or a winch and or a Bro-hoe.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
CBI works with BSM! supposedly. not sure about real world functionality. but I plan on going with their swing out as soon as I can afford it!
