My neighbor up the street is usually zipping around on his quad having fun. Surprised I didn't see him. He saved my ass a few times plowing down snowbanks.

She did mention one can use crabmeat as well.

When her doctor was at NE Medical in Boston she used to make a day of it. Damn if I remember but there was a real Vietnamese place she would eat at, then go to the marketplace and buy a bunch of stuff to make later.

Only problem is, she'd violate your age rule. Is this a problem?

Auger clutch cable decided to give up after one pass on my driveway last night. My back is not a happy camper today.

Trying to find somewhere that has them in stock for an older MTD snowblower - any thoughts? Home Depot only has the belts, not the cable.

I'm in the same situation. The Auger belt gave out and took out the tensioner with it. Ordered the parts online since no one stocks anything around my area - sucks it won't be here for two weeks according to the website.

On another note I can't get the truck into 4HI... I flip the switch and it'll flash however won't engage. Any thoughts?

Are you driving when you flip the switch, or stationary?

Tried both manners and tried it stationary and moving 10+ mph including shifting the wheels left/right

Morning, peoplefaces! Last nights drive home was a good time. Pulled some idiot in a Subaru out of a drift leaving the office; he'd managed to stuff it in hard enough to lift all four wheels so he had zero traction. Then I got about halfway home and almost rear-ended somebody in a Honda Civic while I was going past the lake. Blowing drifting snow had cut visibility to pretty much nothing (I could barely see past the plow lights) and he's pulled over and stopped on the shoulder, but no hazard flashers and his lights were off. I hit the brakes, hit the horn, and pulled out around him. Turns out he was stopped because of a HUGE drift (easily 4 feet deep) that stretched across the entire road! So I dropped my plow, flipped on the orange whirly light and my hazards and made a few runs at it until I'd punched a hole through, then I went back and shoved the rest of it out of the way (temporarily, I'm sure) and kept going while he followed me. Then when I got home and plowed my driveway, behind the house, and my neighbor's driveway.

I've got to get a GoPro, so I can get this shit on camera. I never think to pull out my cell phone and take a picture.

I needed to find parts for my older-than-dirt MTD and ended up calling them. They were really helpful and got parts out to me quickly.

Man, your single drive home last night may be more eventful than my entire winter so far. Kind of jealous.

That's why I need to get a GoPro. I only thought to stop and take two pictures last night; one of my neighbor's driveway, and one of the pile I made out of the heater bank at the end of my driveway. And they both came out crappy because they were on my cell phone.

    Neighbor's driveway

    Snow pile

I've thought the same thing. It would be great to be able to watch myself plow. Then again maybe not such a good idea. LOL

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
They did really well. I was surprised because the 1st storm that we had I was not too impressed but I know that snow was a lot heavier than yesterday's snow
What kind of machine do you have? A Toro right?

Need to clean the actuator. The switch in the front diff has 2 connections that are just pressing against the contacts, not soldered. Over time they vibrate and move away from the contacts which causes the actuator to not work right away. It also gets gunked up and needs to get cleaned

I've been pleased with my bfgs in the snow. Didn't skip a beat when I had to get out of my driveway to bring the kids to daycare this morning either after not plowing

4wd ftw. BFGs had no problem making it up and out of my driveway. Rob's seen it, it's damn steep and no space to get a running start. This is backing back down after dropping the giblets off.
